Maybe. A lot of people are lemmings.

I would do nothing. No one has to leak exactly when a buyout happens

Compared to the last week or two? Probably.

Compared to 2020? No

I dont mind continuing to hold the shares... but I'm kicking myself for not selling these Jan 22 calls that probably will never be that high again

Yeah I think we got our dead cat bounce right after opening bell, now the buy pressure is gone...

Was able to sell my Jan calls for 850% profit

apparently they said something along the lines of "We'll have an update about expanding our pipeline of new products on 11/16"

and the price seems to have responded to that very vague comment

Also they're sitting on $16 million in cash

A JPM guy asked about building out the portfolio.

BMY guy said something about having capital and looking for strategic ways to deploy it.

No mention of AUPH directly.

That's huge. I don't think BMY has been rumored to be in talks with any other companies.

I'd wait for the transcript

I was paraphrasing from some guys on Stocktwits and it's hard to get a straight statement from them

Well if it's even close to that statement it's gotta be considered good news. Rumored to be in talks with AUPH. BMY could have easily dismissed the question outright and the price would have fell out.

Guy asked specifically about current portfolio in LN and any M&A.

Clearly dodged M&A point but said they believe they are in a good position.

This is a very politically correct answer. There is a little uptick in action though.

ETA: as others have said, wait for transcript.

Yeah he dodged it.

This means the negotiations are for real then right?

Talking about lupus, recently rumored to be buying AUPH, when probed about lupus, no mention of AUPH.

I think they were real before this call. Bloomberg would have some serious allegations on their hands if they didn't have sources to back up their claims.

BMY played the situation correctly and certainly had a discussion prior to the call on how to handle the question because that came off a little more scripted/preapred than the other questions they answered.

ehhhhhh wasn't it Bloomberg that ran that phony story about a couple of big pharmas "sniffing around" AUPH the day before they released their first putrid earnings report?

The fact that neither BMY nor AUPH still hasn’t said that the reports are false are more telling to me.
