we tied 21-21 in 84 at UF but we beat them there in 86. 86 was a good game

'97. I was at bottom of student section. Pretty much got thrown over the fence. I remember just running to the other endzone and turning around and watched goalpost come down. Most electric atmosphere I've been too. One of buddy's said I'm not going, we gonna lose. Lol. He missed it.

2007 remains #1. In all of the LSU games I've attended, none was more intense from start to finish. It's still the only game I've ever left feeling physically and mentally exhausted from simply just watching a game.

1997 - People under a certain age don't remember the futility of the 90's and just how much Florida/Spurrier dominated LSU. It didn't matter that LSU went into that game ranked No. 14. NO LSU fan thought they were going to win that game prior to kickoff. If they say they did, they are lying. LSU had lost 9 straigt in the series and very few were even remotely close games. The buildup from little hope/expectatoin at the beginning of the game to "holy shite! We're going to win!" hasn't been replicated since.

most of us ran through the streets naked after winning at the swamp in 2002.

we had not won there since 86. was a watershed moment

My personal favorite of all time... it's 2007 and Im in the student section my freshmen year HAMMERED on jack and coke and soco shots. Tebow scores and peers into all of our souls making a cell phone gesture... that's as cocky as that frick would ever get all night. I swear it felt like we were part of it WILLING Jacob Hester to Drag the defense 3 yards everytime he needed 2.They announced the score of the USC game and drinks started flying we could fricking feel it. Then... one last chance...tebow drops back... IT'S DEFLECTED IN THE ENDZONE TIGERS WIN!! TIGERS WIN!!! that moment was wild and felt like it lasted an hour... the section poured out and dispersed into a hundred parties... it was a blur but I remember stumbling into Louies at 4 am and people were still hollering GEAUX TIGERS as we passed each other....

..so I guess that one was pretty good

Yep. It was a relief to see LSU win there. But if we are being honest, that feeling of euphoria was tempered a bit by the fact it was the first season without Spurrier. It kind of felt like LSU knocked out Joe Louis at 137 years old

2023 was amazing. JD put up video game numbers and looked like Superman.

This is my number 2. does not and thing can ever match the intensity of 2007, but we watched a historic athletic performance that night. Daniels was untouchable. He looked literally superhuman that night.

2010 Lee saves the day; fake field goal

There are the typical games like 2007, 1997, and even 2002 (I was there it was amazing) that everyone talks about, but man 2004 (also there ) and 2010 are absolute classics imo.

Those were games where neither of us were really seen as great teams, but man the atmosphere was just incredible. If you’ve got 10-15 minutes to watch these recaps you will be ready to run through a wall

2004- Marcus Randall Joe Addai GOATs Jesse Daniels with the open field tackle of a lifetime on Leak FTW

2010-When Saturdays really meant more (also Lee AND JJ brought home this W, and TT Superman)

Goddamn I swear Helton could flip that ball over his head a million times and he’d never get that bounce again

Your Personal Favorite Games in LSU/Florida Series

This is going to be controversial but my favorite LSU/Florida game was 2004. Followed very closely by '07.

'97 would be higher but that was a very bad memory because it was being watched in the hospital when my grandpa had a heart attack and passed away a few days later.

'05 was another fun one. I actually enjoyed that one more than '11. But '04 was far and away my favorite LSU Florida game.

Was there in 1997, 2007 and many others. Don’t think any LSU / Fla games can top those.

1. 2007
I consider that night to be Tiger Stadium at its peak and I have been going since 1966.

2. 1997
The first time I can remember a full scale storming of the field in Tiger Stadium.

1. 1997- This was the night I fell in love with LSU football. Will never forget being on my Dads shoulders postgame as a 7 year old chanting Corso sucks behind the gameday set with thousands of others (it seemed like the cool thing to do) . Trashy but that was one of those "you had to have been there" moments.

One of the best days of my life not counting family stuff. Great night out before, up and at ‘em, game day steaks and just the best hangout before, game was incredible, had a run-in with Courso (and 2 state troopers, yikes), ended up in some pics and video storming the field, after party at the house was insane, live band and booze.

In my kid mind, we may as well have won the national title in 1997 when we beat them.

Never thought it as possible to beat them before that.
