Yes.

Nothing he said on the wiretap was illegal.

You are my man, heart bro.

But...

Did he mention payments to players by Wade? Do you dispute he was caught on a wiretap mentioning "a strong arse offer"?
Who was this? And what happened to that player?

Mistakes made and the changing MBB landscape do not negate facts. Probably everything in the LSU/Will Wade drama was handled poorly by all sides. It makes me sad.
Agreed.

I wish we still had Will Wade. We do not and will not. So I'm gonna try to move on. I recommend everyone else get it all out in the next few days and move on as well.
Agreed.

Grumpy old man out.

They’re talking about two players

Jared Blossomgame
Randolph Morris

Blossomgame’s last year in college was 2017

Morris’s last year in college was 2006

Which is why none of this was admissible in the Dawkins case. You can’t leak evidence to the press, that’s illegal.

Yes or no.

because that’s literally all I said.
Wade was on a wiretap.

Wade wasn't being wiretapped.

What was he caught saying on the wiretap?

And what happened with the interpretation of the call compared to the NCAA action to player discussed?

This shite is not too hard. I'm not excusing Wade, but get facts right.

That's the problem, regurgitation of half-arse misinformation. Just educate yourself and start from facts.

Ok just taking note of whether to ever take you seriously

You can like Will Wade, think he should have been retained, but to say he had zero culpability is absolutely retarded

What was he caught saying on the wiretap? And what happened with the interpretation of the call compared to the NCAA action to player discussed?

didn’t say anything about that

The media flooded the zone on this story. There were so many conflated articles and stories that even mixed different investigations into one you had to follow the legal case to get the real time info. Now that the IARP came out we know what was found but the awful media stories seem to be what the public consumed the most and believes. It’s unfortunate really.

You very much insinuated a different thought. I’m not playing that game.

Argue with someone else.

I mean on at least 3 occasions within the ordeal, Wade admitted guilt in some form or fashion lol

A poster stated Wade was caught on a wiretap. No mention of paying players. Baggins, as hobbits are want to do, requested the poster to answer questions about something not mentioned in the post. Namely asking about players were paid in response to a statement about Wade being caught on a wiretap. He was.

Now you could say that that offer was a scholarship at a major university and a chance to play basketball. That's what we all really think it was

Wade cut his own throat. He wrote a check from his personal account to pay a witness to not testify against him during the middle of an investigation. If he doesn’t do that , he is still the LSU coach.

You can’t fix stupid!! If you think that SW has the authority to make hiring and firing decisions on his own, especially concerning big buyouts.Thats not to mention the length of contracts, has to go through the pres,BOS,and TAF.

Read the report. The FBI wiretap was not a violation. Congrats on being Dick Vitale dumb though.

This is when we get into too many cooks in the kitchen.

The truth is - if people care (which I don't think they do, because they already formed opinions) - is Javonte Smart recruitment started the whole thing. It had nothing to do about "cheating" money. That's what people only want to hear and care about.

And the Cals/Forde/Dickie made it happen.

There is no way I don't think Wade isn't culpable, but these dudes just follow a carrot until they starve.
