Maybe because they interviewed the individual and he said he wasn't paid anything by LSU for Smart.

Like I've been saying for weeks......There is more info out there that we don't know about. Do you really think LSU/NCAA know EXACTLY what we all know? Or, do you think they may have sources (the Rant does not have)? Do you really think LSU/NCAA are just sitting around waiting for the next Yahoo article to appear? Some of you are quite naive. I've said all along that is is quite probable that LSU has additional information (that we are unaware of). And, that's why WW was suspended. It may not make sense to some of us, but LSU's actions may indeed turn out to be what is in the best future interest of the BB program
