The NCAA first has to send a notice of inquiry. Then LSU investigates, makes a report, and send it to the NCAA. After that, the NCAA can send a formal notice of allegations. Mark Emmert said very recently they haven't opened up any investigation yet. If LSU had received a notice of inquiry from the NCAA, we would have heard about it by now, and that has to happen before a notice of allegations is sent. I don't even read the secrant's stance on the Will Wade stuff. It;s 99% trolling and a waste of time

It may be the most insufferable board on this entire site...including the Political Board. Virtually nothing of substance comes out of there. All you get 24/7 posts arguing why my team is great and your team sucks. It truly is awful. The Finebaum of message boards.

Actually LSU knew about this guy before they cleared Smart. This article provides absolutely nothing new. If anything, it shows that Yahoo and Dawkins criminal defense team are out of ammo on Wade (which is a really good thing).

You do realize that Dawkins was helping Adidas pay players, not helping coaches pay players. Any middleman associated with Dawkins would have been his bagman, not Wade's.

Think about it, we know what Javonte` told LSU and the NCAA that he didn't get paid. If so, he too would have been suspended. It is apparent that this story will not produce anything of value other than Wil Wade needs to send one of his assistants to pay players off next time. Shannon Forman will deny the stoy, Javonte and his mother will deny the story. There is no other evidence other than a fragmented conversation with Dawkins which can be interpreted a number of ways. That was the main reason, the tape was not allowed in court in the first place and been reintroduced by the defense to reduce the liability of Dawkins. The only good thing for this article is to wrap crawfish heads. In the end, I surmise that LSU will be pissed that Will Wade refused to address their questions however in the end, he will keep his job. The Yahoo story is nothing but bull shite.

Like I've been saying for weeks......There is more info out there that we don't know about. Do you really think LSU/NCAA know EXACTLY what we all know? Or, do you think they may have sources (the Rant does not have)? Do you really think LSU/NCAA are just sitting around waiting for the next Yahoo article to appear? Some of you are quite naive. I've said all along that is is quite probable that LSU has additional information (that we are unaware of). And, that's why WW was suspended. It may not make sense to some of us, but LSU's actions may indeed turn out to be what is in the best future interest of the BB program.
