Why? Just can’t get enough of the anti American propaganda without tuning into the the Marxist league?

I think the game would be canceled/postponed if it got that cold.
Nobody wants to sit in a freezer for a 3 hour football game.

Tickets being $40 a pop versus $100-200 probably played a big factor in getting people out there tonight. They hardly sold enough before this week.

Sold out? Yes.
Every seat filled? No.

Our infrastructure would be fricked if we had that kind of weather.
But, I mean, we don’t.
That’s like asking If the moon were made of cheese, would you eat it.
It’s a silly question

They’d cancel the game and shut the city down

Yup. the only reason I gave up my tickets was contraflow year over year. I can make it home from Tuscaloosa quicker than Baton Rouge after a game. NOPD. Could run it better.

Don’t know why they build open stadiums in the north. Why take pride in torturing yourself?

If that’s what the weather was like here regularly then probably. Up in Buffalo, those people are used to the cold.

Yes and I would be there.

THe coldest game I have been to in Tiger Stadium was when Lee lead is back against Troy. The stadium was less then half full and the temp wasn’t close to 6. It was a fun game. I had the concession workers topping off my brown water and they didn’t care

Technically yes but stands would be empty

I heard from a source I do not trust that tickets were going for only 50 or less?
Which actually would make sense. Almost feel like Buffalo would have to pay people to attend a game in those conditions.

Fortunately we live in the humid subtropics and will never know the answer to this. I remember an LSU-Bama game, 1991 I believe with an air temp of about 40 and a windchill of 30, and Tiger Stadium was packed. And nobody left early--this was back in the bad ol' Hallman days before the fans became such p*ssys.
