Watching the Buffalo Bills game and it is 6 degrees with -6 degrees windchill. The stadium is sold out and I was wondering if LSU had a big game be Bama in Tiger Stadium with the same weather conditions, would it be a sell out?

If we regularly had weather like that in Baton Rouge, probably

Bourbon heals all. Hoping Chiefs and Cincinnati keep winning so we can have a rematch here in KC. If so I’ll be there cold or not

Under previous coaches, many on the roster would opt out.

Would the Bills Stadium be packed with a 100 plus degree heat index and high humidity?

A top 5 undefeated matchup? Probably so. It’s hard to compare people from the south and north though. Up north they are used to it and have the clothes to handle it. I don’t know how much stuff I even own that I’d not freeze to death in -6deg weather while being fairly stationary for hours.

If by big game you mean top 10 matchup in early November... yes my a** would be in the seat, and would be a fun experience. Easier to hide brown water with that many layers .... and personal heater in a bottle. I'd prefer it over 99 and 11 am kickoff

I don’t think the weather itself would deter fans. The widespread power outages and road/bridge closures would be problematic, though.
This city shuts down if it gets into the 20’s. Our infrastructure would be fricked if we had that kind of weather.

In true Louisiana fashion the game would be canceled and rescheduled, or played at another location.

Nope. The flip side is that a 95 degree game in 80% humidity in Buffalo would see half the stadium in heat stroke by halftime.

We live in the south for a reason. People in that live up north are used to the cold so it's not as big of a deal as you would think is. Down here that would be a huge deal.

I would argue that any seat in that minus 6 degree freezer would be more tolerable (with appropriate preparation) than a seat with no shade and no breeze on a hot/muggy day in south Louisiana, especially if you got some sauce to keep you warm.

The amount of camouflage in that stadium would be fricking hilarious

There might be 10,000 people

Tiger Stadium isn't sold out against Bama in a big days when it's 72 degrees these days.
