Question is as simple as that. If this team somehow finds a way to win that A&M game at home are y’all back to believing in BK or you still won’t have any faith in him long term until he gets a marquee road win ?
Even if LSU wins out the rest of the way (
There's a difference between getting lucky and making substantive change to drive improvement. If nothing else changes for LSU and we somehow end up with a really good record at the end of the year, it'll feel like the same fools gold that KC fans had to swallow all of last year. The difference being that Reid is actually capable of introspection and making necessary changes where BK is proving to have a stubborn streak that would make Les proud.
The only way I'd go back to 'believing' in BK after supporting him for damn-near 4 years is if he actually commits to major changes in the offense and somehow convinces Baker to stick around for another year or so.
Problem is, I just don't see Kelly being that soul-searchingly honest with himself, the LSU BoS or the fans. He honestly thinks he's doing a good job so I don't see him changing the one thing that needs to be addressed in a meaningful way.

As a prior BK advocate this is the only answer. Run the table, salvage your “this is a championship roster” season and “ we got receipts see you at the national championship game” arrogance now or GTFO.
You made your bed, which I’m sure you sleep comfy in at $10m/yr and after a nice round of golf. So run it on out or this season is 100% a disaster based on your own statements BK.

No, since they’ve joined the SEC we’ve never lost to A&M at home. You’re supposed to win that game.
A win this weekend plus a win at Alabama and he’ll regain some grace from me because that only happens if mistakes we’ve seen all season to this point are extremely limited. I have little faith that happens.

My melts have been contained and now the situation with CBK is just comical to me.
But no, the season can't be salvaged. Way too much bad blood now. I'm 100% elated that Scotty is feeling the heat though. He needs to figure a way out of the mess he created.

Playoffs or fire BK. If you cannot fire him. Ridicule him into reclusivity.
What we've seen so far - win or lose - is NOT what most LSU fans expect out of a 100M coach and a made-to-order NIL roster with a 5th-year senior QB.
If we somehow make it to the playoffs, I'd still balance the last two years with Sloan against whatever fools gold we find that gets us an invitation to the playoffs.
Otherwise it'll be just like the end of Les' tenure - one spectacular win saves him from getting pink-slipped, only to continue the overall trend that eventually got him fired.
No thanks. Win, lose, or draw, we need a meaningful change in the offensive coaching staff.

This !! And we have about as much of a chance of this happening as I do banging Margot Robbie

Does aTm have a running quarterback? Yes?
We fricked.

I really do quietly like LSU's chances this weekend. I wouldn't bet on it, because I know my homerism can be blinding, but I really do think there's a strong case to be made. Even just objectively, this is the type of game LSU has won under BK, especially in Tiger Stadium at night.
If you win this game, you go into Tuscaloosa with a puncher's chance to do something. Fans will be at least tuned back into hope if we win this weekend, but I don't see that hope lasting beyond a road trip to Tuscaloosa.

LSU controls it's own destiny. Whether they "can" or "cannot" is another question.
#3 Texas A&M
#4 Bama
#13 Oklahoma
If you win those three (and beat Arkansas and WKU), LSU is probably a Top 5 team.
They would need Ole Miss, UGA, Missouri and Vandy to lose another SEC game to play for the SECCG.

It would be great, because I absolutely hate when the Tigers lose to A&M, but they will still most likely lose to Bama and be eliminated from the playoffs, so the season will not be saved.

If we blow them out, the Natty is back on, baby!

CFP, or bust. We have 2 losses already. So, we could lose 2 more. No beating aTm does not save the season, 10-2 does. Not 8-4 or even 9-3 which was my pick all along. I have no faith in CBKs opinion or coaching skills. He just does not fit in the LSU culture.

I never believed in him from the beginning, and I won't start believing in him if they beat A&M.

The only way the season is saved is by running the table going 10-2.
The likelihood of that happening is me banging 2 OT 9’s at the same time.

This team is not getting to the playoffs. They are more realistically headed for 7-5 than for 10-2.
