I think the 18-26-1 that me and one other guy have on here is the lowest possible combination of consecutive four year stretches based on my brief review of the stats.
Now, where's my prize?

First play from scrimmage I saw as an LSU student was a lost fumble to Florida State. That should get me some type of award.

'79 was Cholly Macs swan song and I'm pretty sure the team finished 7-5 after the Tangerine Bowl victory. '80 was 7-4 with no bowl game FWIW.

Highlites: eATMe games; Earthquake game, 44-3 Miami Hurricane -- blurry 3rd - 5th years...
Great moment from the blurry drunken period:
Against #1 Seminoles, Todd Kinchen goes apesh#t, LSU goes into the locker room at half leading IIRC (and I may not..) but I distinctly remember being ecstatic because we were hanging with #1 FSU. In the second half they opened a can of whoop arse on the Tigers. Sadly, we were used to it.
I recall the student section chanting (with my boisterous participation) in time with their tomahawk chant : F**k the semenholes, F**k the semenholes...
Even though football was mediocre while I was there, bball was pretty good and we had some great talent pass through during those years. I rarely missed a home bball game.
