It works similar to other high school sports. It depends on the enrollment of the school. There’s small, medium and large varsity divisions. Within each of those divisions, it depends on how many cheerleaders are on the squad. There are also divisions for co-ed teams, junior high teams, etc. So, there are lots of divisions. There’s also divisions for tumbling and non-tumbling,
There’s a lot of different organizations, but the most recognized is the National High School Cheerleading Championship at Disney. The organization is UCA (Universal Cheer Association)
Edit: There are also competitions for private teams that are not affiliated with schools.

If you look, you can see she uses both hands. Also, on the full video, when he steps out he puts he puts his elbow out to take her arm, and she ignores it.

At the high school where I work, they always say “Please stand for the dress code check and the pledge.” I can’t force them to stand for the pledge, but I can make them stand for the dress code check … during the pledge. I’ve never had a problem.
