Tyrann tossing the ball before crossing the goal line in the SEC championship v. Georgia

Let alone that it was confirmed after review, not just stood as called on the field. I was absolutely floored in that game and in that stadium that we got that call.

LSU vs Notre Dame, 1986.
On LSU's second drive of the ball game, score tied 7-7, the Tigers coughed the ball up on fumbles, on back-to-back plays! First on a straight up run by Garland Jean-Batiste of about 12 yards-- first down, FUMBLE! (in the air) recovered by ND, but amazingly GJB was ruled "down", and the very next play Harvey Williams caught a pass for a 1st down and was tackled about 5 steps later before losing control of the football prior to completing the play. Simply unreal, but LSU continued the drive all the way to the endzone to gain a 14-7 lead in the first.
Well, since it was Notre Dame, and in the second half we made numerous plays we needed to win the game, I have absolutely ZERO regrets!!!

Doucet definitely not a catch
I remember one announcer questioning the catch, but for some reason it wasn't reviewed. Was there any justification like "making a football move" that the catch could have been deemed legit?

What game was that? If you're talking about the 2024 fourth-quarter interception where Nuss was leveled, South Carolina did get the ball back, half the distance penalty.

Mike Shula was livid. That play actually looked like OPI, a pick play as Corey Webster appeared to run a route.

About one yard short! Even as he crawled forward on the ground he appeared short of the sticks. But the play wasn't challenged

The Bert Jones game against Ole Miss when we ran a play with four seconds left in the clock, didn't run out.

There was no review in 2005.

I believe that was the first year they were testing it out. I don’t think you could challenge a play. It had to come from the booth, and there were certain restrictions.
I only remember this because they had the Ohio State/Texas game on at the same time and they reviewed the go ahead TD for Texas that was Vince Young to Limas Sweed to make sure he caught it and was in bounds.

Clemson coaches miss CEH hand touching out of bounds in the. Championship Game. Too bad you missed that one Dabo!

2009 Arkansas.
LSU was down 3 and had no timeouts. Stevan Ridley was stopped inbounds with 20-something seconds left. Refs said he got out and they stopped the clock. LSU kicked the FG to tie and eventually won in OT.

That time Jamal Adams entered the matrix to draw the flag against Florida was pretty hilarious

I don't think there has ever been one.

One second blues--a great memory!
I think it was Bert Jones to Brad Davis. With four seconds left, Jones threw incomplete for Jimmy Ledoux.
Certainly helped to have a quick-fingered scorekeeper to stop the clock and leave a second on it for the next play, the TD catch by Davis to win.

1995 LSU vs Auburn and the "blown whistle." Thats pretty bad.

There was review in 2005. Benny Brazil scored a touchdown and they reviewed it and marked him down at the 1. ASU scored a touchdown and they overturned it and marked it down short of the goal line. It was the first year it was being introduced so it was an imperfect science. Every play was reviewable but there weren't "Challenges" by the Coaches.
If it was 1 year later they would have reviewed it. But because it was the first year it had kinks to work out.

First one off the top of my head was Corey Webster pushing off in the endzone to get an INT against Alabama in 2004.
This was the first one that came to mind. I've actually had LSU fans try rationalize that one - but it was a missed OPI no doubt and it absolutely changed the entire complexion of that game.
Arizona State in 2005 also, that was not a catch by Early Doucet - and they even reviewed it.

Wasn't a penalty, but TM7 toss the ball to the ref before the goal line on his punt return against UGA in the 2011 SECCG.
