re: Worst call you’ve seen that actually went in LSU’s favor?

I was at the LSU at Bama game in 2011 and Reid stole the catch from the Bama WR, but before they went to the ground. Bama had a hand on it but you couldn't say he had possession of the ball. Clearly an interception.

Les clock management debacle
Les would have surely been fired that night, had the out-of-bounds play been correctly called. Just one week after the Ole Miss misfire.

Wasn't there an unsportsmanlike conduct call against Georgia in 09 that was awful call when we played them that year?

Refs stole a down from Miss St in the late 60’s. They were inside the 10 ready to score. Mysteriously after 2nd down it went to 4th down. We barely won that night.

Missed foul/fair call v Texas in CWS in 2009

I remember South Carolina complaining for a whole week about the officiating of that game, playing the victim card. After rewatching the game, their gripes, except for one, were not justified.
2nd quarter: punt block TD nullified for personal foul against Nuss-- right call
4th quarter-- 8 minutes left-- 50 yard pass play nullified for OPI-- right call
4th quarter-- personal foul, Nuss decked on a pick six-- right call
4th quarter-- LSU receiver caught pass inside SC 10 yard line, but bobbled it, and eventually dropped it going out-of-bounds. Catch "confirmed" by side judge; announcer said receiver made a "football move." Highly questionable call -- could have been overturned

I remember that game-- totally bizarre. I saw the down post being flipped from "2" to "4".
It probably wouldn't have changed the outcome of the game, however, as Miss. State did not win a game that season.

irst one off the top of my head was Corey Webster pushing off in the endzone to get an INT against Alabama in 2004.
Literally thought the same thing.

Pretty sure Jacob Hester was short on a 4th down in Florida's red zone on the last TD drive in 2007. Can't remember if review was available, but tough shite gators.
