How many recruits did Saban not only steal from LSU, but instructed them to wait until signing day to announce it so that LSU was left without a suitable replacement?

Classy guy, that Nick Saban. He sure did love LSU all his life, didn’t he?

I don't recall Saban badmouthing LSU publicly, ever.

What he may have said to a potential recruit to get that recruit to go to Alabama is fair game. We all do that.

Y'all need lives. They worked together, Scott is the AD of the school Saban led to a championship, resulting in all the success we've enjoyed since. He'd be a dick not to say something, TBH.

1. You think Bama LSU is to the level of OSU Michigan?
2. Do you not realize Saban is the reason LSU is relevant?

I don’t know the history of those two schools but is there an apples to apples example of an iconic coach that transformed both Ohio state and Michigan as well as the college football landscape?

He’s no longer coaching. You can stop hating him. He left LSU for the Dolphins, not to go to Alabama

Classy imo! He is the one person who put LSU back on a championship path moving forward. And Scott Woodward and most fans understand that.

Yea that’s about half true. LSU came back to relevance under Gerry D. Saban took it to the next level and put them on the elite mark. LSU was plenty relevant before Saban came here

My first thought when I read it was "this is the alignment" of which we speak.

Gerry D made fans/admin see that it was "possible" to become a major player.

Saban made LSU a household name and helped usher in our "new blood" status

It called compromise. All higher ups are compromised for money. No surprise.

You don't see other school's athletic department releasing a statement congratulating LSU do you?

I don't recall South Carolina releasing a congratulatory response to Kim Mulkey and the Lady Tigers for helping to grow the brand of women's basketball last season.

Saban won LSU a national championship and brought the program back from the brink. He deserves a statue on campus next to the other championship winning coaches and Heisman winners.

Keep a pedestal open for CBK.
