you have a very bad "Perception" of how one jefferson brother would speak to the other.

quote:Jefferson executed options and zone reads to near perfection. LSU rushed for over 200 yards, and Jefferson being the QB was an integral part of that.
2011 SECCG, JJ was 5-13, 30 yards, 1 td.
LSU's offense scored FOUR TDs against a Top Five defense in their own backyard.
quote:Wrong.
He threw for 35 yards in the BCSCG
Jefferson completed his first four pass attempts.
At halftime of the BCSCG, Jefferson had completed 85.71% of his passes.

Not interesting in re-litigating the 2011 season, Miles, JJ and J. Lee, but the evidence is pretty clear that JJ played better vs. Saban's D than Lee.
For me... it wasn't about "re-litigating".. and you are correct that J Lee was horrible against Bama... J Lee just seemed to have been psyched out by bama...

I think all the Jefferson brothers should talk shite on Les Miles.

Not sure about that. I have seen him at multiple LSU games and he doesn't wear purple and gold. I saw him at Bama and he was wearing red and gray. WTH

No, my bad. I didn't mean to suggest you were. I was the one that sort of brought the 2011 Rematch game into the discussion. But my reason for citing the BCS rematch game was because before the game, the stats on how J. Lee vs. JJ performed vs. Alabama, the analytics using todays nomenclature, all pointed to JJ starting.
Cheers

Jordan Jefferson stuck through a ton of crap thrown at him. Best QB ever? No.
He put his arse out there for LSU, though....despite the criticism.
That guy deserves a ton more respect than that.

quote:C'mon, JJ was no Jeaux, but 60% for 67yds 0INT, vs Lee's 3 completions to LSU, and 2 completions to Bama on 11-5-11 had nothing to do with it?
convinced Miles to stick with JJ since he could run the option.

Lee was a good QB, I went to LSU football site and got his stats. 317/565 for 56% completion, 32TD-21 INT, 126 efficiency rating. Those numbers include his Bama sites. J. Lee won some ball games for us. I was at the LSU-Florida game in 2010 when J. Lee hit Tolliver in the corner to win at the gun. In 2008, he broke our losing streak vs. Auburn at JH. Played great first 8 games in 2011. Great tiger and gave it all for the program, as did JJ.
As I said in my first post in this thread, Miles moving more and more to run heavy set based offenses impacted the development of all the QB's he recruited here, almost all of which were 4-star rated recruits, which both Lee and JJ both were.

That was Lee's 1 really bad game and it was obvious Les was more comfortable with the mobile quarterback. Lee threw 5 more passes the rest of the year.

JJ had 6 rushes for -5 yards. They won that game because of special teams and defense, and Georgia shitting the bed early in the game. Running was the only thing working for the offense, and revisionist history with JJ's role in that is hilarious.
And the stats you posted doesn't change the fact that he threw for 35 yards.

It wasn’t Jordan’s fault that Les put him in ill fated positions to hand the ball off with 10 in the box.

You mean the LSU defense owns the most wins vs Bama in that span

quote:Except that Jefferson executed options and zone reads to near perfection. LSU rushed for over 200 yards. UGA watched the GOTC. They knew they had to stop Jefferson from running. Jefferson doesn't have to carry the ball to be an integral part of LSU's option attack.

Did you watch the 2010 and 2011 Alabama games?

Stuff like this I don't agree with. Because every other point scored in that game was with JJ.
I don't know why people, like me, keep arguing this. They both weren't very good.

Go look at those first half stats in the SEC title game. 0 first downs ZERO

I’d like to see Jordan in this offense.
