I don't think JJ, J. Lee, Mett, Jennings, Harris or Etling are in Joe B's league, but I do think a better offensive scheme under Miles could have allowed all of those guys to perform at a higher level than what they did.

Agreed. It’s not like these guys were regarded as scrubs coming out of HS. Some of them were pretty highly thought of.

They ran a total of 6 option plays. Largest gain was 10, the rest were around 5 or the 1 yard JJ got when he kept it. 48 if those yards came on a toss dive. Toss dive or straight handoff were the big gainers.

The one site I saw had the numbers transposed. He threw for 53. You win that one

He threw for 35 yards in the BCSCG

Despite Lee's deer-in-the-headlights game against Bama that year, I refuse to believe JL could have done any worse given the opportunity.

Frick Miles for never letting us find out.

Is this a reference to Shadys? If so, you couldn't be more ignorant and I move to have your Tiger card revoked.

Lee faced Bama four times and got the same results, Lee not playing had zero to do with our loss and there is zero chance he would have changed anything

Says a lot about his family that even after Jordan was so disgraced, both of his younger brothers came here anyway.

Those men are Tigers through and through.

I despised watching JJ play but he had no chance in that Les Miles offense. He was a pocket passer forced into being a running QB. It's like Les thought just because he was a black dude that he MUST be a running QB, but then again he tried to run Jarrett Lee around too. I sincerely believe JJ would be good in this offense.

Let the downvotes commence.

The Jefferson family has contributed an incredible amount to this program. If I would run into any of them, drinks are on me.

I don't think JJ would have had it upstairs to run this offense. His stats would definitely be better, but what Burrow is doing with this offense is special.

Back to the '11 season, we had 3 games that year where our leading passer threw for under 100 yards. Had 6 games under 100 yards in '10.

Go look at those first half stats in the SEC title game. 0 first downs ZERO

That should have been a huge red flag for Miles, but he was way to arrogant and pig headed to see it and change his game planning.

You are right, no visible year over year improvement, but John Emery would be sensational!!!
