Why do y’all continue to stay this stupid shite? He’s played freshman all over the place in impact positions in both seasons.

Womack was listed in the game summary as a participant, but I don’t remember him on the field

He played on kickoffs. He was definitely mad, shoulder checking a bunch of ole miss players after the play multiple times.

Our highest graded snd best linebacker played less than half the snaps.

This is the exact same thing as putting Harold Perkins into coverage on like 70% of the snaps vs FSU or just not playing him at all last year vs FSU and Tennessee.

If House is replaced and it's stops then it's fine but if not then this is a Kelly issue.

I don't understand why we're not playing our best players.

There are plenty of freshmen and first time starters go and rethink what you posted. The man started 2 freshmen OTs IN THE SEC just last season.

Savion jones and smith, it’s really hard to watch
They provide no pash rush and can’t stop the run
Meanwhile it allows the defense to render Perkins ineffective

Hard to understand how a 3rd year player like Welch hasn’t picked it up any better than what he showed Saturday & can be passed up on the depth chart by true freshmen?

It’s also baffling to me how that many players could be so lost on multiple 3rd & Long plays during a game. And for the DEs to CONTINUALLY crash to the inside rather than keeping CONTAINMENT!!

ALL of the above nearly cost my wife’s cat its life LOL!!

Jefferson absolutely needs some of Maason Smith's reps. Weeks never needs to leave the field. Womack has to get reps on 3rd down. None of the other DE's can even get close to pressuring the QB. Womack is from Baltimore. If he's not playing more the rest of the season, he's likely going to transfer.

Womack and Jefferson should definitely get lions share of playing time. I would try moving some offensive backups to defense. Jackson at safety and Cain at linebacker. Got to find somebody who wants to get after it.

The reason is either they don’t know the schemes, they were hurt or they were in the doghouse. All legitimate reasons.

I’ll tell you wasn’t the reason: It wasn’t that they were the best choices, but the coaches didn’t play them because the coaches are stubborn, wanted to spite the fans, or played favorites.

I was going to argue but then I read this:

And I realized you were joking.

Ok so Womack for example: injured but not listed on the injury report, knew the scheme well enough to get snaps against Arkansas but forgot it in the week leading up to Ole Miss, or in the doghouse for ???

Kelly made some offhand comment abt Womack being late to pick up something from the nutrition center or somesuch. Wasn't sure if he was joking. But he alluded to Womack being in trouble for that.

The tempo that Ole Miss plays with makes substitutions nearly impossible. They'll play 6-7 snaps in a row with the same personnel, especially if they like who is currently on the field on defense.

Jefferson’s snaps probably had a lot to do with Ole Miss running no-huddle almost all game. Maason would start a drive, and since we barely forced any incompletions Ole Miss could run tempo the entire way down the field.

Kelly and House should’ve been more prepared for that, but idk what the solution would have been.

Spin zone is at least Maason should be getting into shape with more reps.

It's likely the "scheme" issue which isn't really that much of a legitimate reason.

This is exactly what it is.

Coaches get too tied up in their players having to know everything, b/c they're scared of some type of tell.

Good coaches create limited playbooks for talented players and let them feast in that limited role.

You don't have to have the most confusing scheme ever on 3rd and long, especially if 4-man pressure is required and your guys who "know the playbook" can't get that pressure. When you have a guy like Womack who can, there is NO reason why he can't be a designated 3rd and long pass rusher.

What are the coaches thinking? Honestly, what logic is there to do something this stupid?

Damn Right!!!

WTF are these coaches thinking? Don't they know they need to play fan favorite players? Screw that! I don't care if they see these players on a daily basis and know them; know how they are learning; how they are performing.

Play the guys that the fans, most of whom have never played any significant football, want to see on the field.

It's not your team, coaches. It belongs to the fans and what they want. Get with the program or get out.

Look at Womacks QB pressure production. It's not about being a "fan favorite'. It's about his ability to produce.
