What does this do to the futures of said players?

* willl the NFL have to recant?
* will their current team have the rights to them once they finish this college season?
* will they sue to be draft eligible again, thus possibly improving their draft stock?

How can the NFL bar players from returning to college? I saw where they said anyone who returns to college can’t be signed this year and won’t be eligible for the next draft.

Yea so it doesnt change the players position one bit. They either sit at home and wait on a call that may never happen. Or go back to college, get paid and go undrafted again. But they may improve their stock

The NFL isn't going to have any more success with that than The NCAA or The SEC had

If it isn't in the CBA, it doesn't count.

They can’t per se, but the player would probably have to technically “retire” and then trying to come back but that team would still own the player’s rights.

But the going the legal route against the NFL would likely be much less successful than doing so against the NCAA.

They wouldn’t be able to bar them from going back, but they would definitely be for successful in preventing them from coming back to the NFL if they wanted to.

I don't see why they would do that. Coming back when? The following year should be fine if they are good enough.

I don’t think anyone currently under contract would consider going back to college. The only players who are doing this have been/are going to be released. At that point they have to weigh college vs a practice squad (maybe).

I guess Pyburn has said that he will return to LSU, but only if he’s released by Tuesday.

Which means they get cut, clear waivers, become free agent like they do now.
