Will yall ever move on? All I’ve seen is yall complaining about what went wrong in the game.

I do understand their hate towards Lane
We were mad at Saban for going to Bama two years after he left us.
If they really thought he wasn’t a god coach and that Golding was better then they wouldn’t be so mad

you are fooling yourself. These nut jobs think they are elite. They are already talking about their backup qb being as good as Chambliss. I was probably a lot more emotional about LSU when I was younger, but I don't let their success or failure dictate my life. The majority of OM fans are still in that phase where they are obsessed. For a program that tries to claim it is a classy program, they have shown who they really are, just a bunch of overly emotional nut jobs that you cannot reason with. The fall is going to be very hard on this group.

No it’s going to be much like what happened to us with Saban. Except I don’t think they will win two in a row vs us like we did with 10 and 11 before the wheels came off.
They had to have this one, it was their best shot. They have Trinidad and Lacy, they had home field, even in portal era this will likely end up being our weakest team under LK because it’s year one.

Breaking news: fan base talks shite to another fanbase after their team wins.

I think LSU has a better team than OM. The difference in the game was QB. We didn't have one, and their qb carried them when it mattered most. A good QB will mask a lot of deficiencies. I do not think OM is a championship team this year. I also don't think LSU is either. However, if you swapped QBs I do believe LSU would be championship level.

yeah, it is a little more than that. I've been around for a very long time watching sports. I have never seen a fanbase act like the OM fanbase. However, most of it is being led by women, so in a way it is understandable how nut job crazy they are. The men at OM are a sad bunch.

How long did it take LSU fans to move on from hating Saban?
Posted on 9/21/26 at 6:27 am to CaptainJ47
you must not live anywhere near OM fans, or have many on your social media pages. This is MUCH worse than when Saban left LSU. It was a different situation though since he went to the NFL, and not immediately to a rival.

Not many ole Miss fans in uptown Saint Amant.

that's my point. These people are bat shite crazy, if you are around them to see it. Not just showing support and passion, but obsessed with hate. It is mostly women. It is like they are jilted ex lovers with Saban. They still think playing off emotion will win them a title. It won't. Let's see wha they look like this week in the swamp coming down from that emotion.

Probably not. This was their super bowl.

Will Lane? He’s spent a lot of time communicating with people in Oxford.

KDS is lifelong, same as TDS. Nothing can soothe it except hysteria. Hence hysteria.
Also the old South was an honor culture that dealt with insults to one’s honor with violence, and no place is more old South than Mississippi. I lived in the God forsaken state for three years and I knew this would happen.

I’ve never seen a more obsessed fanbase who gives so much energy to a program that they hate.
Were you alive when Saban got off the plan in Tuscaloosa?

Until LSU beats them at football they will keep yapping.
Posted on 9/21/26 at 8:29 am to King of New Orleans
bruh. They're going to be telling their grand kids about this lol. It was their National Championship Game.

They know they're done after this year. Once Chambliss is gone, then you'll see what kind of coach Pete Golding is. I think they know that, and I think they know it won't be good.
Nah, I think most of them are oblivious. I'm sure that there are a few who aren't delusional who know what's coming. But right now the majority of them are completely unaware that after TC leaves they will be irrelevant again.

No, they don't. They truly don't. They think that this is the new them.
