Remember ... this is a program that hung a Co-Champ Western Division 03 banner and hasn't won a title in football of any kind in 60 years..... this win will be celebrated for a long time..... this is their Halloween punt return moment.

I was at the game and the OM fans sitting around us were worried. One even said that they hope it doesn't go to OT, because LSU will win. The fans are for sure gonna ride this wave because they are shocked that OM won that game.

That small sample size you experienced isn't the norm.

I can't even get on anything right now without my feeds being filled with people making fun of LSU and Lane Kiffin. YouTube is a fricking circus right now. This is literally the only place that isn't a burning dumpster fire for LSU right now. That loss was bad for the brand. Whether we want to admit it or not.

You think Easton Royal after watching UT in Austin comeback and beat number 1 is going to pick LSU over UT now? After watching that first half and social media point and laugh? I don't......

I literally just saw a video titled. "The Grass isn't Always Greener" by some fricking balding manlet with a hairline that only a mother could love. That covers sports with 50k Subscribers. He was GOING OFF about how stupid Lane is for leaving Ole Miss. Like he was visibly bothered.

Then the comment section was filled to the brim with people rejoicing over LSU getting beat. People all over the country were hate watching to see LSU lose.

It's not just Ole Miss fans. The entire country hates you.

I am in the boat of letting them enjoy it while they can. It's not going to last like they think

The same thing happened to Saban in 2007 and loo how that panned out.

It's going to be ok... A Lane Kiffin built team beat Lane Kiffin

Did LSU fans move on after Saban left?

Not the same. We all would’ve loved for Miles to take the Michigan job that day. If he did, Saban was coming back to LSU, and wouldn’t have gone to Bama.

I’ve never seen a more obsessed fanbase who gives so much energy to a program that they hate.

We hated Saban for like 17 years. He at least had a layover in Miami.

First day on the internet? That's how algos work.. You keep clicking and feeding into those Anti-LSU videos/comment sections/etc... So the algo puts more of them up for you, because that's what causes you to engage in the content and make them money. It's really not that big of a deal, your feed is completely different from everyone elses lol

I'm afraid not. They ony get to do this about once every 20 years. So it will last for at least 10 more.

This.. It's hilarious seeing OM fans call Kiffin overrated, when he built both top 10 teams on the field

To me that's just cope dude.

If everyone pointing and laughing at you doesn't bother you. Then that's fine. Just say it.

But to pretend like everyone isn't pointing and laughing at the brand and it is just the "algorithms" fault. Is delusional.

yea they will after this year when 6th year and 24yr old Chambliss is done. I think they will have a tough go vs Florida next saturday. They are a little delusional at the moment because of the play of Chambliss. He is truly a sensation that is giving them hope.

would be akin to Miles taking the Michigan job on the morning of the 2007 SEC championship game.

You used the wrong coach to compare Ole Miss’s situation to. Lane leaving Ole Miss to come to LSU would be equivalent to Nick Saban leaving us to go straight to Alabama. Saban at least left LSU for the NFL for a couple years before he went to Alabama and LSU fans never even got over that for quite a while. I’m pretty certain our fanbase would’ve been at the level of pettiness of Ole Miss if Saban had left us to go straight to Alabama.

Clearly you don't understand how the internet works. I work at one of the busiest airports in the world and walking around with an LSU lanyard, not one person says a damn thing. No one is talking about football. You're just obsessing over a loss and spiraling on the internet. The country does not care about LSU or Ole Miss, sorry guy.
