Will Ole Miss fans ever move on?

Even after the win, all I’ve seen on X today has been them still saying things like “I thought LSU was gonna win…”
I’ve never seen a more obsessed fanbase who gives so much energy to a program that they hate.
LSU lost. Most fans have accepted it and moved on. I can’t imagine still throwing shade at a team you beat over 24 hours later.
It’s embarrassing.

What happened to them was not nice. It would be akin to Miles taking the Michigan job on the morning of the 2007 SEC championship game.
It will take some time. When we going to Oxford 2 years from now, the hatred will be less....

They know they're done after this year. Once Chambliss is gone, then you'll see what kind of coach Pete Golding is. I think they know that, and I think they know it won't be good.

Probably, but I keep seeing posts about Ole Miss on our board here. Maybe it's just a handful of obsessed and petty Ole Miss fans, just like there are always a handful of petty and obsessed LSU fans for most of our common rivals (Ole Miss, aTm, Bama, & Florida).
Maybe we should show Ole Miss the way and start talking about the Aggies now.

I think you have to remember a few things here:
First, almost none of their fans have ever witnessed championship success in football, while LSU, a program THEY THINK they are equal or superior to, has had the most success in college football this century, sans Alabama. It eats them up inside.
Secondly, most of the loud talk is coming from Facebook moms, that don't even understand football. Sadly, the OM fanbase does not have strong alpha men to reel those women in. There is a segment of the OM fanbase that is made up of highly beta men, that are echoing what these nut job women are saying.
