All these LSU resources being used to promote Heisman campaign yet he will leave us hanging for bowl game. Seems like a one way street.

Missing Ed O, right?

I know it’s a troll but I’ll play along. If JD opts out I’d be supportive of him. Hes got nothing to gain and no need to risk an injury in a meaningless game. He’s given his heart and soul for 2 years.

I’m grateful for his efforts

Wouldn’t blame him or be mad one bit if he chose to not play the bowl game, but the kind of person and team player Jayden is, I have a sneaky feeling he is going to play the bowl and give LSU fans one last exciting show.

Jayden laid it on line every night
Do what’s best for the future
Not all bad to give nuss a game that in grand scheme of things is meaningless

I’d like to see him dress, get the start, hook up one last time with Nabers for the record and then both step off the field and hand it over to their back ups.

What an asinine question. Why would we feel used by him?

He left it all on the field for LSU. He will have nothing but my respect and gratitude because that’s what he deserves whether he plays in the bowl game or not.

Even if he does it really only helps LSU by getting the next guy up playing time. I don’t really see the issue.

Exactly how much is “all these.”

So we’re just ignoring the 26 games he has already played.

No. Stop being a selfish bastard. It's business decision and it's his to make - not yours.

You could make an argument that it’s better for LSU if Nuss gets the bowl reps in preparation for 2024.

I might skip the bowl game as a fan tbh.

Bowl games just don’t mean as much anymore, unfortunately.

Players skipping bowl games over the last few years really ruined it for me.

We ended the season on a high note and the A&M game is a game I’ll re-watch several times in the offseason.

I’m on to USC.

If he were my kid, he wouldn't have played another down after the targeting that wasn't called against the gumps. The fact that he came back and played three games despite the assassination attempt is more than enough.

I wish him nothing but the best. Had LSU not had a functional retard running the defense, he would be playing for a NC.

Right now he is likely the third QB taken and I would think he would want to take every opportunity to make the case for being #1 or #2.

Unless he’s injured, the bowl game will have zero impact on his draft position
