Will they be scared of Skenes now that they’ve already seen him once?

Sure, let them. We’re winning 2-0 anyway.

Problem for them is 3 games aren’t guaranteed like the reg season. LSU has plenty of pitching to put them away in 2 if they throw a bum that LSU’s offense lights up like the first game and Jay lets Skenes go 8 or 9 and save everybody else.

Doesn’t matter. LSU pitching staff had their come to Jesus moment and have pitched well the last couple of weeks.

Will they be throwing on short rest if so? When did they throw their ace in the regional?

Don’t think they want to give away a game in a super.

I think it’s pretty risky to not throw your best in game 1. Plus with the emergence of Hurd and the way Floyd is pitching it’s not as easy as it was.

If they want to give LSU a win in game 1 of a best of 3 series, then……

They will do this only if the weather is poor.

Seriously doubt they do in a Super, but who knows. I’d gladly take a 1-0 spot.

Do you think it’s any different than the regular season? It’s not. It’s a three game series, and they want to win two games. The best strategy in the regular season is the best in the Supers, assuming all else is equal.

No it’s not. If your Ace loses to their #2, after your #3 lost to their #1, well, you were losing anyway.

It’s only a 3 game series if it goes 1-1. 2-0 and it’s over.
