Nope!
BYU won 9 of their last 10 games. Also, there is still some lingering butt-hurt about the idea of crossing the 50 from 1-9-12. Be respectful to those still in mourning.

Yes.

You'd think we learned our lesson after Wisconsin and Florida last season about this lame shite-talking.

I watched the game, kid.

No, BYU did not look great but they've snuck up on some teams in recent years. And you're right, Les Miles is gone but we don't exactly know how the game is going to play out.

I'd rather be cautiously optimistic and have a 60 point blowout victory versus us be cocky as hell and end up with an L like last year.

Wanna know how I know you've never played football, kid?

Even teams coached by Nick Saban have come out flat. It's happened to every coach. It's human nature

We have a whole bunch of idiotic fans who get their expectations so high that anything happening less than that is a downright failure calling for the firing of a coach or coaches or replacement of players. Who in his right mind really cares whether BYU does or does not cross the 50 yard line during the game as long as LSU is ahead on the scoreboard at the end of the game? I'm guessing the OP cares or he would not have published such a dumb question.

easy, people. I agree, BYU looked terrible on offense. But they likely were looking ahead toward our game and didn't play with any intensity against Portland State.

I expect to see a much better version of BYU come Saturday night. Of course, we're much more talented and should win handily, but I'm not expecting a blowout.

Remember, many people on this board thought we'd blow out Wisconsin last year. Didn't quite work out that way.

This is nice except our offense will look more like Utahs and BYUs will look a lot like Bama's in that game. Huge difference. We will not be dropping back waiting for them to sack us. That's not our offense anymore. When will people understand this?

Utah vs. Alabama, 2009 Sugar Bowl

Meaningless bowl game is very different than a game during the season. I'm not saying byu can't win, but that game means nothing.

It was over 105 degrees on the field. BYU most certainly played it very conservative on offense. They also played a ton of second and third-string players the majority of the second half.
