BYU is equivalent to the majority of the SEC.
BYU is smarter than Auburn.
BYU is a genuine threat to LSU.
Utah vs. Alabama, 2009 Sugar Bowl
Utah and BYU are equivalent football programs.

That makes sense.
But then you said this.....

quote:

BYU is equivalent to the majority of the SEC.

Which does not.

Uhh...I'm not sure if we're the right fanbase to be spouting off this b.s.

I hate these threads, I imagine they will at some point due to special teams or a busted play on defense or maybe they make a good play?

BYU isn't very good but they aren't the worst team out there. As poorly as they played week one, I imagine their mindset will be much different for this game. Teams play over their heads when they play other good teams. I am sure BYU will have their moments. Will they have many, likely not but I am sure they will

Its LSU's first game of the year, who knows how we might come out and play. A lot of new faces on D and a brand new defensive scheme with uncertainty on special teams.

I would pump the breaks

Oh yes. Pretty good QB & a little speed at RB. Guessing they will have more success in the air. Think this is a good opening test for the Tigers that should give them a good read on how they have progressed. Check the adjustments in week 2.

I don't understand the over confidence. Sure, we should be the better team, but you have NO idea how we will look as a team yet. I see us winning the game for sure but it's stupid to act like we will be world beaters when we haven't taken a snap. Pump the brakes and let's see how it plays out.

Playing down to the level of the competition should never be ruled out.
