Why does LSU always play at night?

Lot of other SEC team fans I know have been bitching about our number of night games. The number of night games we have is not new but someone/something/ or MSM has positioned this as another reason for them to hate us.

Before television was so prevalent, Radio broadcast giant WWL (am) would broadcast LSU games at night reaching large sections of the country. Thus LSU began to gather nationwide support which is still valid today.

I wish I could find my old phone to reference an autistic kid we found doing election night coverage on YouTube.
It was maybe a 15 year old kid using his multi monitor gaming setup of 5 monitors.... But he was reporting and analyzing results on a county level, nation wide, in real time. It was one of the craziest displays of autism mixed with genius that I've ever seen.

Concening our game in UK this week, I'm surprised that is a night game at UK or at least 2nd half will be.
