Why do you think Feduccia was pulled?

Coach's decision is what he said on the in game interview when asked.

Pulled I hope, but it is 30 games too late. The kid needs some help focusing his talent and putting for effort. He just zones out at weird times.

Lazily backhanding a ball in the dirt that turned into a passed ball. Can't remember if it cost us a run or not but it was all on him.

It cost a run, but not the other 10.

But it changes the complexion of the game and gives the other team momentum. The game could've turned out totally different if they score 0 in the first.

I can't decide if I want this team to sneak into the tournament and get bounced early. Or just miss the postseason and go back to the drawing board. This season has been a mess.

I kind of just want to put them in postseason timeout and tell them, "Now you sit here and think about what you did."

At the time he was pulled it was the only run. He deserved to be replaced. He gets lazy behind the plate sometimes and when there is a runner on third you have to be locked in and do whatever you have to do to not let the ball get by you.

This type of play has happened several times. It's really hard to accept it all season long.

Losing Doolittle really destroyed this team from a catcher standpoint. Feduccia hasn't seemed to be healthy much this year and it shows in his effort behind the plate at times. Instead of going to a good defensive catcher we recruited in Doolittle, we have to turn to a guy in Coomes or even Jordan who just arent going to get the job done much better at all.

I'm not sure how you can say he would have helped the team given that he was scared off by Feduccia, a guy that didn't play in the fall, and a late addition walk on.

He literally got scared of the competition and left. He probably would have cried on the field if he stayed here.

How would you have handled it, coach?

I'd understand if Feduccia was injured and had trouble with the glove (if an injured Feduccia is better than a healthy Coomes).

What you can't forgive or accept is the lack of effort he showed on the passed ball with the bases loaded and a pitcher who lacks command. You gotta be more dialed in that that...

I'm not bashing PM but... I don't remember the kids name but one kid who was going to play catcher transferred early in the year. That left PM with Feduccia.

Mason Doolittle.

He left because after fall practice he realized he was third, and maybe even fourth, on the depth chart at catcher.

Not injured. CPM said during the in game interview that it was a coaches decision. He was pissed that he let strike 3 get past him and it cost us the 1st run. Overreaction? Debatable.

Well your opinion is shite in this case.

You have a team fighting for their post season lives and your catcher either doesn't have his head in the game, or is just being lazy with a runner on third.

What would you have him do?

Mainieri was aggravated that another ball got past him.

PM pulled him because he let a ball get past him and Auburn scored from the error.
