Moving to a paperless office

In 2001, i worked for a local company that was paperless and our business was to provide paperless solutions. It worked great back then so I can only imagine how well it works now.

Best local nurseries in Baton Rouge??

Which nursery do you get the best plant selection in the BR area?

Teachers are off of work for the next 2 and half months. Must be nice to live like a kid the rest of your life and have the summers off.

But it is MISERABLE to deal with those kids for the 9 months they do work. I’d rather work a normal 8-5 job in outside sales with 3 weeks vacation than to deal with shithead kids or cultha kids for 9 miserable months. They couldn’t pay me enough for that crap. No way in hell.

Do you honk at other drivers

I used to - but now, when the light goes green and they are staring at their phone, I just drive around them and let their dumb arse sit there as long as they want. Generally speaking, this happens at least once a day on my way home from work.

100% agree with your assessment.

What a damn shame. They can have Spanish Town, Garden District, mid city gov’t street areas - too damn close to the jungle for my safety.

Bracy’s Nursery - Wilmer / Amite area

Posted by Gumbadi on 5/30/18 at 1:29 pm
I had access to a horticulture license back in 2000 and bought from Bracy’s 2-3 times back then. Called them the other day and they don’t have me on file any longer (and I didn’t expect them to).

Anyway, I really don’t want to make the 3 hour trip to Doug Young’s in Forest Hill since Bracy’s is only 1 hour from BR. Plus Bracy’s blows away the best Forest Hill’s nurseries.
They only sell wholesale and you have to show a horticulture license to purchase from them.

Anyone have access to Bracy’s that can help me??
Their selection is unbelievable!
I’lll pay a commission to you...

Whew doggie! Ain’t she some kind of fine.

They ship all across the United States. The reason there are so many is because of consolidation of resources and pretty much the entire workforce in the area knows the business. The nurseries all work with one another and lots of time consolidate shipping if they can’t fill an entire truck. Lots and lots of ‘undocumented immigrants’ living 15 to a trailer there too.

yep. My last two houses were new construction and Forest Hill is the best way for handling my landscape needs, For me, the selection, pricing, plant availability and quality are worth making the trip.
