Bc our coaches sell 3 and done. It’s in the players heads before they arrive on campus. Now the strategy is good for attracting talent, just not keeping for 4 or 5 years

Losing Brady and Aranda did not help this past year. I think players could see the writing on the wall.

I think it has a lot to do with the education system in Louisiana. They don’t have patience, maturity, and are not diverse in their thinking. They don’t recognize the value of commitment. They can’t understand how an overall education will help them in the long run. This is why 75% will be bankrupt post NFL career. Immaturity. Typical of today’s narcissistic socially retarded dolts.

It’s also got to do with the fact that we just had the greatest season in the history of college football.
A lot of the guys that left felt like the checked the box on one of their major college goals and felt it was time to go.
I know we have departures every year but I think that’s why this year was so bad.
In their minds, what else do they have to prove?

lsu recruits tend to be lower income than alabama and osu recruits.

LSU doesn't have a support system in place like some other major universities like Bama. So, obviously they're going to bolt at the first opportunity in the NFL. We may make a lot of money from revenue but there's a pretty poor support program outside that especially from alumni. Compare Bama's alumni network to LSU. It's laughable in comparison and once you see that you understand how they can keep who they do. There's a me culture at LSU that has been around since Miles era and it probably won't disappear anytime soon. You can't blame them for seeking millions when the LSU brotherhood can't offer them a nice security blanket.
