Hurts to see Etienne, Moses, etc return for senior seasons.

I understand Moses' decision because of the lost season but players like Etienne, Smith, those clemson D-lineman from a few years back have literally zero business returning.

LSU fans! Players read the rant. I think LSU players follow the rant more than other school players follow their school message boards. The rant is popular. Rant members post a lot of negative and racists comments about players and former player.

It’s not uncommon to see a mass exodus of players after a national championship. They get to go out on top and guys like Jets, Chase, Queen, etc have nothing else to prove. Their stock won’t go any higher. Throw in COVID and it was a perfect storm. And don’t give me this we don’t pay them shite. We cheat just as much as Bama, Clemson or any other top program. Those guys are walking down the hill in nicer suits than I own.

They come to LSU to be prepped for the nfl. That is the main selling point for this program.

This is the biggest concern going forward. Precedent has been long set for leaving after junior year but even bigger concern now is this sitting out after just two years (Chase) and probably Stingley next season.

My concern as well

We live in th e poorest state in the country. Most of these kids are the bread winners for their entire extended family.

Parenting/family values or lack thereof, poverty... Louisiana is a poor state, not everybody comes from the Brennan dynasty

Guy has a chance to make millions from his hard work and help change the lives of his family members. But let’s blame his parents or lack thereof.

How many make millions or are in the league for more than a year or 2? Only a few still make it, the rest leave and are left with no degree/education or backup plan

You’re asking why extremely talented 20-21 year old kids decide to go and get millions of dollars instead of returning to college to play for free and risking those millions of dollars?

Asking for a friend. Well 3 actually. Najee Harris, Devonte Smith and Alex Leatherwood

So they stay a year and then are in the exact same spot. All you did was prolong the process and chance at financial security. At some point you have to grow up and face the real world.

You think Clyde is worried about having a degree or not tonight? He’s making $6 million this year as a 21 year old. Even if he blows all of that and has no degree, he still has endless opportunities available to him. See Marcus lattimore.

LSU isn’t going anywhere if these guys want to finish that degree...

Yeah people act like if they went belly up it wouldn’t cost them like 10k in student loans to finish their degree.

Are the new facilities and locker rooms not good enough to convince guys to stay? Are other teams paying their players to stay? It seems like LSU is the only school that cannot convince players to stay.

I wonder if this site has anything to do with it

O kept a lot of Juniors for 2019 and then we destroyed everyone. Bama,Clemson, OSU were all left holding their dicks last year and were embarrassed. Of course we had more players leave. And we just had better players than them....have you seen all our guys already starting in the NFL from last year?
