I would assume Guidry. He was lined up to start the original matchup and hasn't seen any action yet.

Feels like Guidry and Schmidt are both in line to throw some innings tonight since neither threw over the weekend

Conner Ware vs. DBU Wednesday I presume

Reality is everyone should be available tonight outside of the 3 weekend starters and Connor Benge who threw Friday and Saturday

That was just speculation from the fans given he didn't pitch at all the first weekend. Jay never said anything on that end.

He confirmed in one of the press conferences that Guidry was going to start against Nicholls last week.

Guidry?

7 games in and 0 pitches thrown is evidence of something that a lot of fans are in denial of. He is good but he is not a top guy in this staff. He will be a vocal leader more so this year.

they clearly wanted him to start a game, which got rained out last week. Tonight makes sense.

we threw Fontenot this weeks

you think Guidry slots behind Fontenot?

we also didn’t see Schmidtt.

don’t read any tea leaves with a cancelled game.

He was slated to start week 1, against your toughest opponent. The game was unfortunately postponed the day of, otherwise we likely would have seen him at some point during the first weekend, probably opening day after Anderson.

You think the staff thinks Guidry after his first 2 years here of being very dominant is behind Fontenot, Woods, Noot, Primeaux a guy like Mayers who cant throw strikes consistently and all the freshmen?

Pro-Tip: The guys they were stretching out in practices to see if they could handle starting are not guys they see as cheerleaders and thats it

William Schmidt

Let's spell it correctly since we will be talking about him a lot.
