Who’s going to watch Zach Mettenberger in the AAF this year with the other LSU guys who playing in this league. Hopefully Mettenbereger finds a good place in Memphis, and the AAF lasts for more than a year.

I’m certainly intrigued by this.

I’m going to watch the first couple games. And mett’s team in Memphis has something like 6 LSU guys so that’s driving up my interest.

What station will it be on?

Looks like CBS one week after the Super Bowl. I haven’t heard much about it except for seeing it mentioned on here a little.

You should probably lock yourself in your house then and shut yourself off from all people and technology....it won’t end well for you

It's
A
Football
Game

How about they just stop doing the national anthem all together? That didn't even start until the 1940s, anyway. If they don't play it at all then nobody has anything complain about right? Problem solved.

It's a NATIONAL ANTHEM. It should be played at military events and political functions only. Do they sing God Bless America or recite the Pledge of Allegiance at the World Series of Poker before every hand is dealt?

All this shite is stupid, on both sides. It's fricking entertainment. I don't need patriotism injected in all my entertainment. If I'm watching Star Trek or Family Guy or I'm at a concert I didn't suddenly forget that I live in America and it kicks arse.

And for the record, I don't agree with the reason the kneelers are kneeling, in any way, shape or form.

You pretending to be hurt or offended by these guys kneeling is almost as stupid as them kneeling in the first place.

I'll be there for every home game except one. I was sold when I heard Mett was the QB, then I saw the rest of the roster and I got kinda excited. I already hate the Atlanta team, too.

You must be a Conservative with that mindset. I am also a Conservative, except I choose to not get mad at people for the very thing I try to speak out for and support (Our freedoms and the Constitution).

Wait, wait - so you haven't been watching the Saints?

I'll admit, the year the Ravens all kneeled in London I was a little irritated. It kinda wrecked my fantasy season and my interest waned a little bit. But eventually they all mostly stopped and now you have a few lone wolves doing it. Best part though is the media doesn't really give a shite anymore.

It's kinda time to move on, bro.

I'll be watching. I like pro football but I haven't watched or attended an NFL game in five years. Don't intend to. But I would attend an AAF game if there was a team nearby.

The NFL and their stooge the NCAA needs to die off. At least the NCAA involvement in collegiate football. I'm hoping this AAF league will challenge the NFL.

I'm interested. Mett has been having a "Mett show" on IG, interviewing players.

Here is a link to their roster. I counted 10 former Tigers.

What's the deal with this AAF? Is this the same group that's doing XFL?

Looks like Hackenburg and Cook are also QBs for them. Is Mett the starter?
