Does LSU have any wr's who have experience at cb?

CB is the one position that LSU could not afford to have losses but it seems to have occurred.

Kyren Lacy looks the part.

Didn’t Khai Prean play DB in HS? Otherwise the CBs will be Sage, Stamps, Welch, Toviano, and Hughes right? Zoinks!

What have you seen from Chestnut or Harris that makes you think they’re any better than this group?

The freshman have been learning the defensive scheme and technique all season. They are better options than a wr

One of them go down and we need recievers. We will be in variations of zone and hoping to hold them to 3 instead of 7 every drive.

Basically playing kick coverage at that point.

He would drop INTs.

I have no clue why our fair catch specialist hasn't switched to cornerback. Clayton hasn't and won't see the field at WR. At least try him at CB.

If only we had two CB's with starting experience that are still on scholarship...

That is something done in the off-season if done at all. But I will play along and say Aaron Anderson if he weren't 5'8".

They should have been playing all along. The veterans haven't played well enough to justify keeping them on the field

Feels like we have to cross train or switch someone if BK doesn’t make chestnut or Harris available. In game injuries would put us in a bad spot

They have young defensive backs that practiced all spring and fall at those positions and have hardly played at all because CBK didn’t think they were ready.

You think they can just switch a WR to DB for a couple weeks of practice and he will be an adequate player for you at that position?

There is no fix for the situation they are in at DB. Either the young guys step up big are they don’t.

This nonsense again????

This has been repeated over and over and it just isn’t possible.

You cannot take a WR who has not practiced defense, has not been in defensive meetings, doesn’t know the scheme or terminology and throw them out as a CB with only 2 weeks to prep.

It would be a disaster. If we were going to convert a WR, it needed to happen weeks ago.
