Alan Risher. I was super young but my dad took me to Birmingham for the 1982 LSU-Bama game.

When I first REALLY became a fan, it was Herb Tyler in '97. I have memories of earlier years, but I wasn't really into watching sports until I was about 11. I called myself an LSU, but it wasn't true fandom, yet. I loved to play any sport, but I had no patience for watching before then. Something happened in '97 that just hooked me.
And I was so excited for the '98 season... Boy, what a letdown that season was. But Herb was still good. Just couldn't stop a nose bleed on defense.

Herb Tyler is the first quarterback that I have memories of actually watching play and specifically the 1997 Florida game is the oldest game I can remember watching from beginning to end and have been hooked ever since.
