First QB names I remember are Mike Miley and Carl Otis Trimble. Alan Risher though was the first QB when I really started following LSU football. I was aware of Bert Jones since he was from our neck of the woods

Bert Jones and Paul Lyons...

Steve Ensminger, David Woodley are the first ones when I really started following LSU. I remember hearing about Burt Jones, but I was 4 or 5 when he played.

Herb Tyler was the first one I really remember paying attention to. I was 8.

Blocked PAT won the game for us.

It would have to be Bert Jones- although I was a little kid, then. LOL
I never took my foot off the gas from that moment on.

Herb Tyler!!!! That game he played against #1 Florida in 97 will forever be etched in my mind. From that scramble for the TD to the game clinching pass to Abram Booty to get the final first down.

That was a key play in the game, but there was still lots of football to play after the block.
The Tiger defense played lights-out that afternoon, holding a league-leading Auburn to more than 200 yds under their average.

First QB I fondly remember: Tommy Hodson.
First QB when I became a fan...who were the two in the years before Hodson? When Dalton was there?
I was born in 1981, so I didn't really start remembering LSU players and teams and the games till about 1986-87.
Remember Dalton more with the Saints, and he is still my favorite Saints player of all-time only tied by Drew eventually.
