The fans and the media in louisiana do not know basketball, will not understand/consider your points in this post (including the fact that LSU and USCe invested the least in their rosters through last season, and don't respect cerebral coaches who don't consistently display their emotions outwardly.

I agree with you, and to add to your "ironsharpenibg iron" reasoning, our improved line will and is making the oline better. They have to maintain their confidence though.

If you want more Americans represented in competitive college tennis, it needs to start prior to the college level. Cutting athletic scholarships to foreign players only limits the quality of competition.
re: Who do we have now that Sereh Williams going to UConn

There's 3. Joyner shouldn't be dismissed, but we still at least a 4fh.
I think Joyner is undervalued and will be a good player. Knox has high upside obviously, but the problem is depth. It sounds like we may go abroad to find another front court contributor.

He's been excellent. I just would like to see the pitch count efficiency to improve. Other than that last K though, the strike zone has been tight tonight.

That's true, but you provide no context. You can't count on freshmen to be major contributors unless you have one of the few 5 stars which they are very few. You need veteran returning players. Your best wing scorer Tyrell Ward was lost to the season due to mental health issues which wasn't foreseeable. Your best post player, by far, Jalen Reed, went down to a season-ending ACL injury before SEC play. Yes, you probably overestimated what you could get out of Jordan Sears at PG, and other than he and Cam Carter who was your only consistent scorer, were your only highly experienced players on the roster, and in arguably the best conference in the history of the game, no coach or team was going to be able do more than endure it. It's not excuses. It's just facts. The biggest problem that you could control was having more depth, but that's a big problem when you have a very small budget.

No, I like Lynn Rollins

Kim doesn't appear to trust Gilbert, but she's not the issue with ball security.

You have to have a good filter to sift out all the stupidity and basketball ignorance on this site. The sad fact is very few who follow LSU bball here and post know much about the game. And I can no longer excuse it mostly to Will Wade bitterness.

They've been very good defensively for most of the season, including SEC play. The problem has been on the offensive end with turnovers and a lack of post offensive go to guys, i.e Jalen Reed.

In response to the original post Ashton Frye of Mildred high school in Texasl reports having been offered a PWO by LSU's Jordan Arcement. This is also in another thread. I didn't find his measurables, but this is a little info I did find on his X page

Tennessee also needs a right tackle. Ohio St abused that guy.
re: Portal scoop
Posted by ShacReed on 12/21/24 at 10:17 pm to BiggaGeauxrilla
The problem may be that if Tennessee is our chief competition for Thompson based on how they look tonight they may be willing to pay anything to improvee their offensive line.
Auburn gets Singleton. We are stacked at WR though.
So Nebraska seems to be the main competition for the WAZU OT and Payton?
Bottom line--we have talent but no experience at tackle, both right and left, and it's a big risk to go into a season where you intend on ending it with a natal title with 2 unexperienced tackkes.

On3's weights are all old when you look at portal guys.
It's wen reported at the end of last week that we'd add Nic Anderson and Destyn Hill.
