I’m sure all of these people are grateful for your noble sacrifice and speaking so honorably on their behalf. Thank you for your service.

Ill be surprised if we dont have a big enough covid outbreak to cancel. All it will take is 8-10 players and they will probably cancel, and the wave is just hitting BR now

This happens even when they win by double digits. There are always negative posts. No reason to make decisions based upon wha these people might do.

I will enjoy watching these shite bowls go to the way side.

Start the tourney sooner than later.

As long as we have our 15 practices; I wouldn't cry if the bowl game gets cancelled. We keep our non-losing season record intact; BK was able to scout his team and decide if he wants to keep anyone else from the staff.

Don't get overworked. These guys are rejects from the poli board who can't even get attention there in spite of repeating all the anti vax nonsense. They are actively rooting for the game to be cancelled so they can pretend to care.

I'd rather they play with walk-ons and backups before they cancel.

So basically what you mean if LSU isn’t in the playoffs you don’t see the point of it
that's too simplistic.

Of course there are very good bowls outside of the playoffs that we would all get excited about. But the Texas Bowl against 7-5 K State ain't one of them.

84 out of 130 teams go bowling. It means nothing anymore to simply go to a bowl.

I'll watch the game against K State, but have zero enthusiasm, and if it got canceled I wouldn't care one bit.

As a fan, for this bowl game at this time specifically, that makes complete sense.

As a player though- if I practice I would want to play the damn game.

1. for obvious "effort" reasons; put in the work, get the reward.

2. Swag and just the pomp and fun around the trip and such. It's better than waking at 6 am to report for training and then going to class only to have to come back later for practice.

3. For some of these guys it will be their only real chance to play for more than a couple of plays in one series or more than special teams. For a few this game will be the difference between earning a letter and not. For even fewer this game could be the difference in paying your own way and a scholarship (while still putting in the same time as others).

LSU starting to sound more like Loser State University. Are they not woke enough as it is?

For those of you saying there’s nothing to be gained, does keeping a 20ish year winning season streak alive mean anything?

Hate to break the news to you, but LSU went 5-5 last year.

How is going 6-6 any different than 5-5 if the bowl isn’t played???

Nothing to lose either.

They could lose the string of seasons without a losing record.
