Gotta admit life has gotten in the way of me being on top of LEU football as I used to
I know Whit Weeks is really good but who are some of our other “stars”

The only two that were on the team last year outside Weeks are Treydez Green and DJ Pickett.
Jordan Seaton LT from Colorado, Ty Benefield S from Boises State, and Sam Leavitt QB from Arizona State are the somewhat proven and potential stars that came from the portal.

Jordan Seaton is the most important piece on this team.
If he ends up as one of the “biggest studs” on the team (as he looks like he could be) the season will be special.
If he looks like Tarzan plays like Jane then 8-4 here we come

The top receivers will be Tre'Dez Green, Winnie Watkins and Jackson Harris. CLK will game plan Green for big games and
The surprise lead RB will be Dillin Jones. He'll be the pound it back and get the goal line carries.

I think Seaton will do his job very well and will probably not be tested much. I am hopeful that the guard from Maryland is as good as I have read, our center is even better than last year, Bordelon has become the stud that Weeks says he is and our RT, Weston Davis has learned from our new OL coaches. Having new OL coaches may be the most important upgrade to our entire team...it is that critical to LSU success. We were just that bad last year.

Wow, no one mentioned Princewill Umanmielen yet. Also, Dottery didn't lead the SEC in tackles by accident last year. Those two transferring from Ole Miss is freakin massive.

Forgot about Berry.
Our RB rotation and overall running scheme in general under BK was infuriating. Glad we’ll finally have someone who knows how to use talent again

Just in case.

I don’t have any inside knowledge.
But the O-line can’t be worse than they were under Kelly. It’s impossible (hyperbole).
They were so SOFT!
you can even look back at the great will Campbell. Despite everyone having a hard-on for him, he was soft as hell.

Yeah it has sucked. Scheme was awful from day 1. That includes Denbrock too.
I'm fine with Durham, he's been in a bad situation and did ok.
Take the first run against Clemson last year- should have been a 7 yd loss, he made it a 15 yd gain.
If you put him in a solid running scheme with competent blocking, doesn't have to be great, simply competent, he can be a 100 yd back.
Then you add Berry's potential to it.

I’m all in on DJ Pickett filling the shoes Delane left behind. Think we got a good seaosn out of woodland too but DJ Pickett has been corner in the country ability. Another offseason with Raymond should turn him into another elite LSU cover corner

He still needs to improve. Just for reference he averaged fewer tackles per game than Major Burns did in 2023.
