He’s turned CFB into women’s basketball, a joyless machine that crushes everyone

You mean like beat them there by knocking them out of the SECCG which so they are out of the BCS/Playoff?

Jesus Christ... If Saban were still at LSU and having the same run that he is currently (but here), you'd be giddy as frick.

You were pretty excited all day yesterday. Same as the last 7 years.

And you'll be excited for the game again next year.

And Saban gives exactly zero fricks about what the rest of college football thinks...I think it’s great...if you don’t like the way things are going...do something about it.

Saban actually does s care. If by college football you mean the NCAA, well, his guy is running the show. If you mean the SEC, well, his guy is running that.
Saban is a genius at running his show. Eventually, it will catch up to him. Most great dynasties of any type implode. Until then, the rest of college football needs to do the best it can.

What do want the NCAA to do?

Investigate the roiding and juicing.

Investigate the dirty recruiting and payoffs.

Investigate the gump bias and officiating bias in the dirty-as-hell SEC offices in Birmingham.

This would be a good start.

NCAA needs to do something to increase parity in CFB.
#1 Maybe only allow the previous years NC only a certain amount of 5 and 4 stars players or only allow a certain number of players allowed from out of state.
#2 The SEC office needs to be out of AL and to a state that is not in the SEC.
#3 Alabama needs to be investigated. The Chargers, Dodge Ram trucks the Al players drive, moving families from Hi to Al giving them job ect.
#4 I say follow the money that is how to get to the bottom of this. Money talks in all things.
But all that being said, this morning I hate all football as AL has taken the thrill out of it. You know before the game starts they will win. But as always #ForeverLSU

Lol not this shite again. More oh iremt hacks so mad because we keep losing to saban you give him
No credit for his coaching ability. Only recruiting. How’d that work for miles? You have to coach the talent. You know nothing about coaching. He wa always a great d coach. Go see his time with browns and even Miami. He had good defenses

He is the best coach in college. It’s no excuse though for how far we have sunken though.

You should have been around watching John Wooden at UCLA. It didn't ruin the excitement of college basketball. When Elvin Hayes and U. Houston beat them on national TV it was the greatest game I've ever seen in my life.
It wouldn't have been the same if UCLA had been considered beatable.

Yep. And if Saban were @ LSU doing this , it wouldn't be "ruining college football". More tears. That's what this thread is. Melt continues

Nah.

What ruins the excitement is when Bama gets beat, but is then given a mulligan.

If Bama had to live by everyone else's rules, they would have three titles instead of five, and the parity would be there. You can't fault Saban for being gifted those opportunities. He has the brand and takes advantage of it.

You people act like they can't be beat. They lose a game every single year, and it is ALWAYS an important one, usually at home.

Yes the talent gap is there, but again, without luxuries other programs do not have, they would be still be a great program, just not sucking the life out of the sport by being essentially given a pass when they fail.

That's what is wrong with the college game now.

And had they lost last night to LSU, you bet your arse they would have sat home again, watched the SECCG, and got in the CFP again.

At least this way they actually have to win the SECCG to do it.

Sour grapes. I mean they lost to Auburn last year and would’ve been shut out by UGA - in their second championship game loss in a row - if not for a miracle in the form of Tua at halftime. They lost to Clemson the year before. They’re great but not unbeatable.

You actually believe the same things don't happen here? The difference is the amount of money Bama has influence over.

Buck Up Tiger Fans. Saban has to be that good in order to compete in and possibly win the SEC and CFP NCG. Clemson just put up 77 pts. Oklahoma, Ohio State, Clemson, Mich, Notre Dame...they have Offensive Schemes.

LSU has continued to do absolutely nothing to address the widening gap with ALA and the rest of the top FBS teams like Clemson.

Hoping that ALA will go away so our incompetent Offense can win a few more games is wrong-headed, gutless, and avoids the Coaching/Offensive issue that has plagued LSU since Tempo and RPO have changed the game emphasis to Scoring. If you cannot Score, no matter how good your Defense is you are going to lose. LSU has put up 2 Goose Eggs under O&E in 3 yrs.

We are not Comin' and Zero pts in 2 of the last 3 games means you cannot Back Down any further than Zilch. Getting bigger players is idiotic. It is not talent.

OSU beat ALA in 2014 with a 3rd string QB by by running them side to side. Clemson beat them with Tempo and Venables Defense.

It is definitely Coaching and Scheme and O&E are NEVER going to admit that. They cannot even see it.

LSU is the ONLY team not to score against ALA this year or put up respectable Offensive Numbers. Chad Morris at ARK came up with an offensive scheme that produced 400 yds and 31 pts. Jimbo at TAMU put up 400 yds and 23 pts on the road. Tenn put up 21.

Orgeron and Ensminger are clueless and this presser is proof positive.

ARK and TAMU are on the road and TAMU has not lost at home.

You're preaching to the choir, my man. I agree, believe me.

I was just answering his question of what could be done. The college football season is "blah" with the way it is now. It is a mild version of what it used to be.

The NFL doesn't allow this type of personell dominence in the draft, why does the NCAA?

What exactly could the NCAA do? I think back to the BCS days and empathize with the country (non-SECw) who hated playing for 3rd and up.

I've said it before.

The dude won two titles in the last 3 years with non Quarterbacks playing Quarterback.

Then, the Devil gave the mother fricker one of the best college QBs of all time.

Yeah. That was necessary.

You dont know what you’re fricking talking about. Saban was leaving and wasnt anything Skip could do. Every time Saban told Huizenga no he upped the offer. He finally said yes when they offered Terri 800K to decorate the new home in Miami.
