2023 hands down. That 3 game series against wake forest was incredible.

2025 was really just a waiting game IMO. You could feel it
Yeah I felt way better after game one versus Arkansas. I wasn’t worried about Murray State and UCLA, and I didn’t think Arkansas would beat LSU twice with rested pitchers.

23 you had guys just launching nukes and that was fun... That final where we scored nearly 20 runs on florida was a party...
The whole CWS was stressful but dang did it feel good winning the hard fought games.
Skenes was lights out, Tre Morgan Play, Josh Pearson outfield play, Beloso, Tanks.... just so many awesome things.
2025 was fun but outside of the late portions of UCLA and when we played Arky there never felt like a lot of drama.... Even in finals game 1 i felt like once we had a run, their small ball wasnt gonna be enough.

I feel like 2025 was more due to JJ's coaching and recruiting/transfer portal signings than was 2023

I was more invested in 23. Beating Tennessee, WF and UF

Those WF games were classics, got to send Tony V home, and tgot to pants O’Sullivan in a winner take all game. Just a great CWS run that will be tough to ever top
We beat the top 3 douchiest teams that year.

2025’s championship victory was a bit more unanticipated and surprising. Mid-season I would not have predicted LSU’s utter domination in post-season play that occurred.
But 2023’s postseason was more enjoyable to watch due to the close calls with elimination and the classic battle to the death with UF.
In retrospect, though, if the 2025 team played a Sunday game with the 2023 team (meaning to negate the ace pitching of both teams), I think the 2025 Tigers would find a way to eke out a win over the 2023 champions.

The 2023 CWS was just absolutely loaded on our side of the bracket.
#1 overall seed Wake Forest
Extremely talented Tennessee team
#8 seed Stanford
You felt like any of those teams could win it all and there were no stress free games like Murray St (or UCLA to a lesser extent). Then once we got out that bracket we had the #2 national seed.
Pretty much everyone knew going in to Omaha that the winner of LSU/Arky would win it all.
It almost felt expected this year once we beat Arkansas.

23 no doubt.
This year was strange maybe just me. And what's weird is I respect this team and the job the staff did more than many of the 8 runs I have watched.
Jay Johnson is a wizard and any poster calling for his head meet me at Sonic lol

You really want to pitch to that 23 lineup without Anderson or Eyanson?
Not even just Crews and Tanks. That was a deep arse lineup. 8 of the 9 starters had double digit homers and the one who didn’t had 9
23 had more issues defensively for sure but my damn could we rake.

I love all championships but 2023 is easily higher ranked in the enjoyable column over 2025 for me.
As others have said: first title in 14 years (by far the longest gap since we’ve started winning them), crazy amount of superstars, going through losers bracket, the classic 2-0 win over WF, the classic G1 over Florida, and finally the coronation. 2023 is the greatest college baseball team in recent memory.
I hope we’re on the dawn of a another dynasty run!

2023 was awesome because we played 8 games in 10 days and took home the title. That was a very nerve wracking memorable run day in and day out until we smacked the gators in the final game 3 of finals

I'm going to say 2023. It was a tough run and we pulled it off but we crushed it in the third game vs florida after they pat themselves on the back for a free run record. Also a lame reason but I didn't like winning the natty at a 1:30 game, I wanted it to end at night.

The most obvious difference is how much more dramatic 2023 was compared to 2025. The only time that we faced elimination this year was in the regional final against UALR. Even the really intense games in the CWS (particularly the 2nd Arkansas game and the 1st Coastal game) had the cushion of playing again the next day.
Also, 2023 had the relief after over a decade without a championship and over half of a decade since the last trip to Omaha. For me, this year is more awe than relief - like, Jay Johnson is building a monster here winning titles at a 50% clip.

They were both great, but in both cases, we beat the best teams (WF in '23 and Arky in '25) before the finals. After that miracle comeback beating the Hogs in the 9th, most knew we were taking CC down!

Secretly I didn’t think we’d make it past the Supers. Then boom.
What an incredible run. 10-1 to close it out
Congrats to our guys!

I found this team to be frustrating to watch all season. Never developed a third starter, never got any consistency at the plate. It really was just Spahn & Sain & pray for rain.
2023 team had much more character. I don’t remember Milazzo lollygagging down to first. Ever. And they beat Wake on a phenomenal play by Tre Morgan at the plate and not a fluky 9th where the Piggies gave us 6 outs. But sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good. Or maybe they created their own luck?

I’m not going to diminish one in favor of the other. I watched all eight runs and every one of them was special.

Beating UF for the Championship was soooo enjoyable.
Especially after what happened in 2017.
