Last season almost didn’t happen because of the Private. The Private surely didn’t help LSU out when asked to tell us who paid or didn’t pay. He refused and we had to completely gut the roster. Don’t is considered year 00.

Meh, that last team would have been in bad shape without Eason, but I think wade would have done just fine in the portal. 22-23 probably wouldn’t have been a great year, but there in no reason to think it wouldn’t have been another top half finish and ncaa tournament bid. Since that was his status quo.

It’s kind of hard to look at it in hindsight and say that they made the right decision. But that really doesn’t have anything to do with McMahon. The toxic tribalism that occurs here is nonsensical.

It’s a 100% fact. The board of Supervisors held numerous meetings on the subject. And were weeks away from canceling the season. Had meetings with the sec offices daily.

The whole contention that LSU gets to cancel a basketball season, let alone the complications it would have with the rest of the SEC, is mind blowing. You can’t be serious.

Yall have very convenient memories. It was a possibility and at the very least we were looking at canceling some of our early season games. Yall must live in fantasy land to not grasp the ramifications of the privates actions and just how much he demolished our program.

I think he’s trying to say that we didn’t have any players and were in danger of not being able to field a team. The only problem with that is it’s not even close to being true. Our roster was finalized on May 13th, 6 months before the season started which is fairly early for a roster to be completed.

On a board where unbelievably stupid statements are commonplace that has to be one of the dumbest. LSU didn’t even have a 2022-2023 early season non-conference schedule to “cancel” in April.

It’s totally different from making a mistake or a misunderstanding. The fact that he attempted to convince us that a high level insider told him this shows that this was meant to intentionally deceive.
