It’s totally different from making a mistake or a misunderstanding. The fact that he attempted to convince us that a high level insider told him this shows that this was meant to intentionally deceive.
Most of us can be reasonable and actually state facts. He is the opposite - making up facts in his own head.

I’m not making up anything. It was a distinct possibility. And my high level insiders are Coach Hamilton and Coach Kaine. Was friends with both before they came to LSU. I know the facts whether you believe me or not.

Again, what would be the reason to do that? You can’t answer because you made it up and didn’t think that far ahead. Also why would KJ Williams, Hill and Hannibal transfer here if there wasn’t going to be a season?

I’ve been around the basketball program since I was 5. When I was 12 years old Coach Brown brought me on the floor in the Omni in 86 when we cut down the nets. I’d sit on the bench at every game I attended, full locker room access, rode the team bus. Daddy Dale offered me a scholarship in 91. I chose to run track and cc at LSU instead. If yall wanna think I make stuff up then so be it.

Congratulations but that still doesn’t validate anything you’ve said or gives any explanation for anything you’ve said. Knowing someone at LSU puts you in a category of about half the posters here and does nothing to support your story.

That dude completely makes up shite. He literally said LSU was going to cancel basketball. He said Wade was under FBI investigation. He said LSU Basketball was under FBI investigation.

He's earned another year of support. I honestly think he's a great guy and a good coach. I question his recruiting. Even with "clouds over the program" a brand like LSU should still be able to bounce back pretty quickly. Sometimes doing things the right way takes longer. I guess we'll see.
I just don't understand the hate between the Wadeites and the McMen. Supporting these coaches is not mutually exclusive.

The crux of the investigation and DOJ case was shoe companies "bribing" coaches/players. LSU's only involvement in that respect was allegations that an agent paid Tim Quarterman, who played at LSU before Wade was ever hired.
Wade was NEVER under criminal investigation. The wiretap you heard was so irrelevant to the actual criminal cases that it was not even allowed to be introduced into evidence at trial. The reason you and the media ever heard about it was because the defense team for the main defendant, Christian Dawkins, got a copy of the tape in discovery. They leaked it (and other recordings) to the media essentially to argue that Dawkins wasn't a part of a scheme to "bribe" schools on behalf shoe companies/agents because the schools were the ones working to bribe the players.
You can't pass yourself off as an "insider" when you consistently get so many "facts" wrong

Also notice how he’s now tried to pivot and once again throw Wade into the mix as a deflection. He still hasn’t provided any information or even possible reasoning to support his potentially canceled season allegation.
