Wouldn't think so, but how else does this move make sense? Guess he couldn't find a better spot at competing for playing time.

on 1/17/23 at 1:30 pm to James WoodsHe's not replacing Dart. He's going to a similar situation to LSU. He'll be the backup difference there is they probably give him #2. 1 injury away from playing. At LSU he had no shot because he was behind Nuss and JD with Nuss being at least 2 years away from leaving. He's probably convinced Dart won't be there after this season.
I also think this is a good fit for him personally in Kiffin's scheme. Likely another major factor.

He's like a smaller, slower version of Corral with a similar arm. This sort of offense is likely best suited for his physical limitations.
