One part of me is excited to see just how great of a season Burrow is having. But a (much smaller part) is sad seeing just how busted LSU's passing attack was between 2008-2016 (absent the 2013 season)

no for LSU...I want to say around 9,000 yds and JB could get close to 8,500. I know that bowl games didn't count and we play more games now but still this is for 2 yrs

Crazy that before Burrow, Les had 4 of the top 5 QB performances of all time.

He gets too much shite compared to the history of the program.

Bowl game stats didn't start getting included into season stats until 2002.

In regards to the content in the OP:

Honestly doesn't get the he credit deserves, all things considered.

True, and maybe Burrow has spoiled me, but I've watched Etling highlight videos lately..............and yeah, he was pretty average.

On 38 attempts.

I'm sure that's minus sack yardage, but yeah

Are the yards for Jamarcus backwards?

Or did he lose that much in sacks?

Yeah that's what I figured. In college, sacks are considered running plays.

Post-2002 they do IIRC. They do not for players 2001 and prior.

Rohan’s bowl game vs Illinois isn’t on the list for example.

you know there are reasons why right? 30 years ago we played a maximum of 12 games and prior to that 11...also bowl games never counted until the last 10-20 years

I was at the game in Tuscaloosa when Rohan and Josh Reed went off! I was invited and given 2 tickets by an Alabama fan for one of my sons and I. After that show, he told me it was bad luck to invite me again.

Josh Reed had 19 catches for 293 yards. Still SEC records I believe.

If things go the way I predict, at least 2 of our remaining minimum 4 games Joe is only going to play a little over a half. Might make it tricky to get some of these records.
