What’s your 5 deep depth chart at tailback for one game? (All Time LSU History)

You’re coaching one game and you can choose from ANY tailback that played at LSU. The players in question are 100% healthy and in their college prime.

Starter - Leonard Fournette
Back Up - Kevin Faulk
3rd String - Derrius Guice
4th String - Charles Alexander
5th String - Dalton Hilliard

Stats and accolades do not weigh this decision. I’m looking at it as pure ability and who gives me the best chance to win. Yes Billy Cannon isn’t in the rotation at RB. He played some TE, so I’d have at TE. And Jeremy Hill nearly bumped Dalton Hilliard on my list. I’m sure the flame and backlash will be fierce but nevertheless this my list

I’d prob take any running back who’s played after the year 2000 over any run in back in the 70s or 80s to be honest.

Give me Cecil if it's just one game and I don't have to worry about him getting in trouble after the game.

Billy Canon was bigger, faster, and stronger than everyone on your lust except Fournette. He is definitely top 5 - probably #2.

It's generally silly to compare backs going back to the 50s but Cannon was the size (or close) of a lot of linemen in that day and was obviously fast. Not saying he should be in the top 5 but he deserves his due. He was a physical freak

Who’s my qb?

If he’s decent, I’d want Faulk first. If not, Cecil or LF. Tough call there.

Cecil Collins is probably THE best running back I have ever witnessed from the pure giftedness standpoint.
