What will its take for basketball to become more popular than baseball?

What must Willy Wade do to win over more of the LSU fan base? LSU basketball (while at times frustrating) is simply the more entertaining product at this point in time. What says the rant?

Consistently in NCAAT. Covid killed that.
Also, his style of play is fan centric. Lots of running and points. Once fans can get back in the PMAC, in force, watch out.

Think about it, if LSU baseball makes the equivalent of the sweet 16, fans want the coach fired.
Will Wade has only coached one tournament game and some basketball fans want a statue of him.
The expectations are not even comparable at this point.

There was a time when basketball at LSU had phenomenal suppport considering they never won an NC. Dale Brown had his shortcomings, but he sold the program like no other. But if LSU ever wins an NC or consistently goes deep into the tourney, then the fan support will increase pretty dramatically.
