What will Ed Orgeron’s duties be at LSU this time besides recruiting?

Making angry faces on the sidelines, yelling at referees, and throwing clipboards on the ground sounds about right. Did I miss anything? Lol

Seriously though, I hope he gets involved in coaching the DL.

O is a great recruiter and fantastic with boosters. He’s a steal at $100,000. He’s also an insurance policy in case Baker leaves for a HC job next season and takes the dline coaches with him.

Just having him in the building will be a boost to morale. He just needs to walk around hyping guys up. Every player loves a coach that gets fired up and has that inner bulldog mentality. We comin!

What I don’t get is why the one year deal? What happens after this season, does he get an extension or goes elsewhere?

Probably needed some health insurance before he can qualify for Medicare.

He's basically Frank's replacement in recruiting and I'm sure he'll play a role with DT development. I think the guy coaching DTs has never done it before, but I could be wrong.
