This right here.

Orgeron assists Kevin Peoples this season with the Interior DL and then takes over in 27 when KP leaves to be the DC at whatever school hires Blake Baker as HC.

I wonder if it's even a full time position at that amount.

There are def analysts that will be doing twice the work making $60k.

Yeah but those are mostly younger guys who are still cutting their teeth and working their way up in the industry. $100k is a lot of money to a lot of hard working folks, but it's not much at all for a college football coach with O's level of experience.

He's going to be the LSU football Coach of Diction and Elocution.

You’re probably the only Louisiana guy who has ever attempted to be taken seriously while using the word “elocution”.

Fits the Champagne username.

Time to move to the northeast fancy pants.

Confession: I have recently purchased an actual pair of fancy pants. But it’s only one, so I’m confused as to why it’s called a pair.

Well he is probably top candidate to be trusted with the secret bbq sauce.

Edit: for real I think he will take over a lot of ensuring people execute Kiffin vision. But I think he is really looking for another coaching job, so maybe next time Tulane is open.

To go a little further with this line, LSU has a horrifying revolving door at DL coach right now. I'm pretty sure we've had more coaches than calender years over the last 6 seasons. If Coach O is content for his ceiling to be defensive line at this point in his career, he's a great hire to establish some kind of stability at that position.

Like it or not, Chris Kiffin is probably our next DC, and I guess Orgeron has already worked with him before.

I agree. I’m sure he will have a big expense account for recruiting, so traveling and meeting with players, families, and coaches, will make for good times for all.

The bonus is his coaching.

I would think it’s just a flyer to see how it goes. Also, keeps him honest so he has to perform every year and not get complacent. Re-up 1 year at a time if it’s working out.

He's basically Frank's replacement in recruiting and I'm sure he'll play a role with DT development. I think the guy coaching DTs has never done it before, but I could be wrong.

Peoples is coaching dts this year and he has done it before.

To me this is lane helping o out while also having o help with recruiting.

I seriously doubt this. I don't see Chris kiffin being the DC at lsu if baker leaves next yr.

I've been shopping for Fancy Pants for months. Can't find something that suits me. Where did you find yours?
