It was rare that we lost at home - only 3rd home loss in five yrs (UF in '03, UTenn in '05). Not used to walking down TS's ramps after a loss.

Bo Pellini was what I thought he was. Had some good games but prone to taking days off and not preparing team. Ala Kentucky and Arkansas

Stunned silence. I could not believe LSU blew its second chance to potentially play for the NC after already seemingly blowing it at Kentucky earlier in the season.

Who could have guessed LSU would get yet a THRID chance to play for the title?

I said something similiar.... "We just snatched defeat from the jaws of victory". I was pretty mad. Mainly at Les. I was convinced he was mailing it in to be the next UM HC.

I was arguing with people leaving the stadium who were blaming Les while I was blaming Pelini

I've been banned on here twice. Once after we lost to Kentucky in 2007. Second time after we lost to Arkansas.

we still had a championship game to play

As we were leaving the Georgia Dome making our way back to the car, the rumors of Pitt upsetting West Virginia started to drift through the crowd. We found an RV in the parking lot with a TV, and confirmed it was true. Euphoria!

That season was one emotional whiplash after another.

Recall all those hog fans waving their shakers at us, screaming. I wanted to jump someone's arse.

My friend with me is a former coach and can tell you what's going to happen before it does. He said in OT Pelini would cost us. And he did. Same with the KY OT game.

I was at that game, we crashed and burned after we lost, however one week later we won the SEC championship over Tennessee and next day we were officially in the BCS Championship Game.

still hear the silence in the student section after Arkansas won that game. That silence was loud as frick.

I was there and just standing with my hands on my head watching Flynn sit there. Couldn't believe it. Called my dad the next morning and talked to Dad about the SECCG. Ended up still going. The ride from Atlanta to Birmingham was chaos listening to wwl. We ended up stopping at a Texas roadhouse to get appetizers and beer just to watch Missouri and then ran into the hotel lobby to watch the end of Pitt WVU.

I said to Ole Beau, 'WELL,They don't know what they just lost." He said, "
Wait a minute...if Hawaii does this and Pitt and West Virginia do that.."" After the SEC game,on the way home, we listened in the Opaleika Cracker Barrel as it unfolded..

I was pissed that our DE, roughed the Arkansas Quarterback, after the play was dead, giving Arkansas the opportunity to win the game.
Without that penalty, the game was over and we win.

I thought it was my fault, because the only game I went to in 2003 was Florida. But luckily it worked out the same. I was also thinking that D Mac and the other guy were really damn good.
