What were you thinking leaving Tiger Stadium in 2007 when Arkansas just beat LSU 50-48

As I was walking out Tiger Stadium, I called my dad pissed and said “you can forget Atlanta. We aren’t going anymore. Sell the tickets and cancel the hotel rooms.”

Glad he talked me off the ledge and kept out SEC CG plans

After the game, Les is quoted as saying “Right now, there’s a goal of our football team taken off the board and it’s sad…..Tonight, we’ll be sick.”

At least we’re better off than Bama after hiring Saban and losing to ULM.

It was very disappointing obviously but at the time I was thinking we still had a championship game to play the next week so I wasn’t as bad off as some.

I was pissed and sad that we blew an opportunity to play in the national championship. My hate for Les Miles also grew after that game when he called them Ar-Kansas.

I wasn't leaving Tiger Stadium but I remember thinking I hope I don't get divorced.

Couldn't believe we didn't hand the ball to #18..but we do have a chance to knock them off their pedestal at home this year!...let's go get it!

I can still hear the silence in the student section after Arkansas won that game. That silence was loud as frick.

I had a friend who was so pissed off that he threw his brand new shoes in a garbage can outside the stadium and walked in his socks to the car.

That is the most silent exit from the stadium I have ever witnessed. I can replay it in my mind as we walked down each ramp. We were all stunned.

Why do we want to relive this right now? Save this stuff for the offseason. We sure like dredging up horrible memories around here.

That I'd pack Les's bags for Michigan for him.

No voice, exhaustion and a general sadness from seeing Flynn just sitting their on the field. Contemplating if we should cancel our trip to Atlanta

I was pretty pissed that Arkansas was constantly running their pick route. They'd have Peyton Hillis crash down on Ali Highsmith, thus setting the pick. They had done it a few times. I could tell by the alignment before the play, that it was coming.

I was pissed that the refs never once called it. I was also pissed that we didn't adjust from it. It was very obvious. Go back and watch the film of it.

As a side note... I later ran into Peyton Hillis at Senior Bowl (I do sports medicine here in the Mobile area). I asked him: "So Peyton, tell me about that pick play ya'll were running on Highsmith against LSU." He looked up with a huge grin, paused with a look like "you got me!", and then we both just started laughing.

That I had just witnessed one of the greatest games ever. And that we had potentially just lost a chance at the Natty.

I was sitting in the lower student section and will never forget looking up and seeing the students above me during Neck. Just insane.
