When was the last time we beat Bama at home?

The last time we played them at home and were better than them. Forget all that extraneous stuff and just win, baby! RTWFU!

Don’t jump on the man for a good question!

Here’s your answer!

LSU is going to hit Bama with an increased 60%+ passing game, not the balanced 50/50 Attack you saw in Tuscaloosa in 2019.

Year 2 of the Sean Payton Saints Template

Tide will have no answer with Mac the Joker Jones at QB and will struggle to get close to 20 points.

Bama is a preseason 2.5 point favorite.

This will be the first time play them with beer sold in TS.

So, that's already a routine change right there .

So
ND and UGA are overrated every year but that didn't stop CBS from putting them prime time last year

Uni's don't win games. what happened last year, was our players KNEW they should win. They didn't hope, they could. They EXPECTED to win, for the first time since 2011.

when you have that kind of confidence, and remain humble enough to work for it, and earn it.... good things happen.

The routine was changed last year in Bryant-Denny. They no longer live in our heads. They are human and can be beat. Our system and players plus it being at home = a win for the tigers. We owe those motherfrickers from 2018. That was the most disappointing loss in a long time. Worse than losing to state 37-7.

Joe Burrow was going to beat bama last year if the game was played at 11:06am, 2:38pm, or 7:05 pm.

I like how you just gave Burrow all the credit for the win as if CEH didnt earn his status as a 1st rounder in this game.

CEH balled out but without our passing game, those holes aren’t there. Bama loads the box and we don’t get shite just like the previous 8 attempts.

Very astute observation here.

Enter the game with the true belief they will win which should be easy now. Stay focused on assignments, don't get drawn into trash talk and cheap penalties and execute the game plan. The LSU receives are better than their DBs so just go out and prove it. Run well enough to keep them hones.

Pelini unleash the beast and feast on little Mac or turn the freshman Bryce into the Oklahoma version of Jalen Hurts against the Tigers.

I think the routine was changed this year simply because this team knew they could beat them. That’s it. Nothing to do with time slot, where the game was played, etc.

I see you're getting downvoted into oblivion because people think Joe Burrow and company were so good that it didn't matter. but I disagree.
Burrow had a very good game. CEH probably had his best game minus Arkansas (obviously much more important against Bama).
So we played about as well as could be expected. But Bama. They were very un-bamalike. The turnover on the first drive. the muffed punt. the interception before halftime. We didn't have mistakes like that and we still barely (kind of) won. I always thought it was going to take something stupid ridiculous (just think about what A&M had to have fall their way to finally get that win over us) to get over the hump with the way they were in our head. It took the greatest LSU team ever. plenty of bama mistakes.. and I honestly don't think the 2:30 start time hurt at all.

But now that we're over the hump. Saban doesn't have his voodoo over us anymore. At least until another 2011 esque situation happens. I expect LSU to give them a great game this year. The type of game we should have been giving them all along. no more 29-0.

Nailed it.

And you know Nick is going to be desperate this year.

He did not have a good 2019 and will be doing everything he can to re-establish order.

But without Bama having to watch for CEH every play the receivers wouldn't have been as open either.
Its a game of bait and switch and a Team effort to screw with their minds!
